| See...I made my argument based on the following: - My way of determining the winner:
- Weapon Size (both clip and the weapon itself) - Weapon ( We are talking no outside interference and the companion at his best. So FNV companions have an advantage here) - Reload speed (Its those moments when you are at your weakest) - Size and Durability (A big targets usually the first, and hard to miss. It better be able to take a lot of damage) - Overall Survival ability (Life span in lore, and how much they live through. Bonus points for Veterans.) - Skills (Boones an A-class sniper, Veronica likes punching stuff, Fawkes has a gatling laser) - Their Opponents (Keep in mind, no matter how good the companion is, they are facing about 30 other people, mutants, and creatures. So you gotta think knowing this companion, can they take on these opponents alone.) - Arena (Okay I am imaging no advantages to anyone here, so I just pictured them all in an Oblivion Style Arena.) - Gear (Much like a weapon their gear is important, Power Armor adds a great Advantage, but does make you slower. So be sure that you can move in it)
I do notice that a lot of people are praising Fawkes as the winner because of his weapon and durability. While I agree he is a strong contender for victory. He also has a large gun and screams a lot when he attacks. Like the Heavy in TF2. And like the Heavy, he will be targeted by multiple opponents. Will this mean he will lose? No. But it does mean he has as much of a chance at losing as everyone else. That is if its a fair fight. |

| This should have been a poll but I guess their are too many to name. Definitely Fawkes. It depends though if it this starts like a gladiator battle in which you see your opponent or something like the Hunger Games in which you know it's life or death but don't know where the enemy is. In that case Boone. He would wait for all the mutants to take each other out and then gun everyone else down. _________________ Molon Labe |
