After playing new vegas for so long i kinda started to to wonder why is it that the 6 has no family or friends when he starts the game the only person to acknowledge him in a way of knowing him before is Johnson Nash and thats just a flat response to a back story. my current goal is to create a family for the courier with such family members as
-grandfather(ghoul)
-father(old)

Im gonna make him look like this:

-2 brothers (one by blood other adopted)

blood Brother:

Adopted Brother(the guy):

keep in mind in my mind these characters should have a southern accent problem is im only one person and my voice is sooo southern its hard for people to understand and i have no idea to write scripts if i could get some real help here ill take suggestions for the mod when i actually get help till then this mod will stay a thought in my mind

When you say "write scripts," I'm guessing that you mean writing scripts in the GECK as opposed to writing dialogue scripts, yes?

tbh a bit of both i got a bit of scripting (dialogue) allready done but still a bit away from done

You might want to take a look at This Mod It's a "Courier's sister" mod. Not really finished, but it might help a little, maybe tear it apart in the geck and see what you can learn.

this isnt your baseline companion mod i want it to be a story driven quest mod (allready got the ideas for quest written out) therefore that mod would not be very useful

This is an interesting idea. If you are going to go through with it fully, I would suggest giving the player a plethora of dialogue choices with his or her family members.

This isn't just because I want you to work your butt off to make a fun mod, this is because immersion is my first priority in the mods I use. For example I am normally against the legion barbarians, so If my brother was a member of the legion (like one of your brother proposals appears to be) I would want to severely rebuke, maybe even fight with him over it.

In my thoughts, TTW removes family problem very well...
But if someone don't want to use it, or wants alternative version - your choice looks good
