In all games I absolutely love character creation, but in the fallout games it has been very... weird. Is anyone as excited for the new character creation system as I am, and share some funny stories of character creation mistakes below

Bethesda finally managed to get rid of the potato maker, but I imagine it's still the same way to create faces just without a UI, instead of a UI slider you just grab the bit you want and then slide, so it's essentially the same, just better models to pull around? I don't know if what I just wrote made any sense, but oh well .

no I understand, its just the sliders without the sliders

After playing Fallout 4 for a while. I'll probably make the most ugliest character and go on a killing spree with a bat... you know until a deathclaw shows up.

It reminds me a bit of Inquisition's, which eliminated sliders for many of its character creation options.

I am personally very excited for it!I will name myself in the game Daniel like my real name and create the woman to look like my wife and real life,IF i can that is after I create my male character but it works.......well I will be very happy!Like it will be me and her,and our boy shawn or Chris as I will call him,and I will have my whole family in the game!How superb is that,I dont know but thank you for this character creation Bethesda!

I'm pretty excited for it. You know someone will create some really good looking textures for the faces which will allow us to create even better looking characters. I'm going to edit my character and my wife just for the hell of it. lol

I've noticed that it also had a "body" thing in the creation menu. I'm really hoping that it will give us possibility to make any kind of character, be it a really fat dude or an athletic female.

I think they is a good I dead tbh. All the sliders really confused me, So I ended up just downloading character races.

Its much more modular than before, and a huge advancement in the creation of chars. I agree with Dio, hopefully they will have body options as well. Would be cool to play as a arnold schwarzenegger
built char, or play as a really fat dude : P

The diversity that they showed off at the E3 demo gave us a idea at a few options we have in character creations. Really like the new character creation. FAR better than the sliders. Hope i can make a Shia labeouf character for my "JUST DO IT" play through.

I'm definitely looking forward to the new system then I can finally create a character that looks normal, every time I try and create a character in fallout new vegas the head and facial features just look awkward, and don't even get me started on female characters

Character customization look amazing in Fallout 4! I can't believe the things you can do with your face. A lot of people have been angered by the new character voice, but I think it is a cool new feature!

I don't really think they are angered by that.Maybe some of those kids.
It's very nice improvement since it's 2015 and next gen is here.
Being silent is cool.But there are great voice actors like Laura Bailey and Yuri Lowenthal could fit very easily.
Only thing I didn't like is new chat system.
Also VATS became improved.It was very unrealistic to just stop time and aim for enemies.

We will see.But this game shows great promise.

The new chat system is utterly horrible, it has probably been the biggest mistake they could have made.
