Just a guy who is going through some hardships.
Finished a 2-year Republic of Korea Army service 4 years ago.(FYI, It's South Korea. LOL) During that time, I was stationed in USAG YONGSAN, worked for USFK, expanded my gaming career in the nights. Played COD MW 2, and many other shooters. Â
Frankly, I came to this community looking at great weapon mods for Fallout series. But I surprised that unlike other gaming communities, GUN is very well maintained and organized. Feeling that this is the right place for me, A gun lover and post-apocalyptic man.
I hope GUN keep thriving and prospering. So happy to see you guys.

That's very cool! It's nice knowing that we have members in other continents like Asia! Anyways, welcome and this is the best modding community there is!

Hi, and Yes. Having Lived in Seoul for whole my life, right now I want to visit Alaska, Siberia, Canada, anywhere near arctic. It's damn too hot in this little peninsula at summer.

Thanks. Even though koreans are not much into shooters nor modding, there are a little of them making their own mods for fallout and GTAs. I hope I can introduce some mods made by my fellows to this site. But accustoming myself to GUN should be first.

Thank you for your service man, mad respect for people in the army. You're a badass dude and a legend and it's great to have someone like you among us.

Thanks for kind words. I think I don't deserve your great compliments because I mostly did administrative jobs at the safe post.
Despite, I truly thank you again. In ROK, 2-year military service is mandatory for every healthy man. More than 200,000 youth join the armed services every year and 40% of male populations have served either in Army, Navy, Air Force, and Armed Police. I can certainly call it a garrison state. By some incomprehensible reasons and cultural aspects, however, koreans usually don't appreciate these men. For past 4 years, I have never been thanked for my service or loss of precious youth. Almost everyone takes our suffering for granted. So, I always envied USFK(United States Forces in Korea) guys so much, as I saw they were so welcomed warmly by their family and US citizens.
I should stop my lengthy talk. I just wanted to say that you are the first one ever appreciated my service. Thank you for that. I sincerely hope your good health and living.

I guess you are studying in stateside? I wish you good luck.
And thanks for the compliment. I can never consider myself well versed at English, but the language has been my only merit and an interesting subject for a long time. I even studied English Literature for 2 years, and am planning to go back to Univ for more studies. Need to amass wealth for that, and faced many predicaments on the way, I'm still striving for it.

@Grayghost13 Yes sir. I live in the U.S. and go to Korea every other summer. I live in Yeido in Seoul right behind the MBC building.
Yeah most of the times when I go there, no one speaks English. I guess 2 years of English really helped you out.

A fellow spartan! :hellobig: Although many years passed since I played Halo 3, I still care for where the franchise is going. Good to meet you.

Welcome brother, we should have motorman service here in the states. People would be a lot less sensitive and butthurt about everything.
