| Hello,
I am having a problem with running FNV edit, every time I attempt to run it, it always just flashes the screen and that's it. Nothing else pops up. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks |

| You started this same topic two days ago and I made a suggestion then, you've not given and feedback so I'm left not knowing if you've even seen it or if it didn't work and to think of other suggestions.
-1 rep.
Edit: I jumped the gun in my reaction. It seems your intent was not to hammer for answers or a solution, but that you honestly did not recall previously posting. +1 rep to the next post to counter the -1.

| Recovering from surgery this past week and haven't gone on my gaming pc for about 5 days or so and been using a regular laptop in my bed. Wanted to try your advice once I felt better to get out of bed. My apologies. |

| Good luck, hoping for a speedy recovery. What were you in for? _________________ |

| Tonsil and adenoid removal, with the back of my tongue and part of the uvula shaved off. Nothing too serious, but cannot eat solid food for about 3-4 weeks. |

| Indeed, could be worse. Both my kids had tubes put in and for one it's resulting in some hearing loss that may end up being permanent. Both had their adenoids blasted too. _________________ |

| Sorry to hear about that, hope your kids have a speedy recovery as well. Much luck to your child with hearing loss. |

| Thanks. One day at a time, one foot in front of the other. It's all we can do. Life is a take it or leave it situation. _________________ |

| If I remember your advice correctly. You said to start up the vanilla launcher and then see if FNV launches? |

| Right, start the vanilla launcher and then close it and see if FNVEdit will open properly. What happens in most cases is that when XEdit looks through your registry it can't find the game in question. Running the vanilla launcher is usually all that's needed to make a fresh entry that XEdit can find. _________________ |

| Tried it and the problem still occurs. Do you have any other suggestions?
Edit: Hmm actually found something interesting. I downloaded an older version of FNV edit and it ran perfectly. Is this normal? |

| Not that I've heard of, maybe it was a bad download? Glad it seems to be working now though.
Sorry I was hard on you about the topic, some of my pet peeves are people who join a conversation in progress and repeat what's already been said because they don't bother reading the previous conversation and when people think they can sort of annoy their way to getting what they want.
You've been very calm and understanding in the face of my reaction, I hope you can forgive me for prejudging you. I am about to edit my original response and see what I can do to mitigate my reaction. _________________ |
