Hi guys!

Every time when you select storage in a companion they always replay but thats the problem for me. I see the subtitles but no sound.
It happend with all my companions even with the storyteller.

It seems that some files are missing in Fallout - Voices.bsa.

My solution is to move Fallout - Voices.bsa to secure location in different folder just in case, and verify files trough steam to get new Fallout - Voices.bsa and then check results with the companions.

One time I have similar problems with Ringo, all his dialogs were silent and replacing sound file was solution.

For the Storyteller, uninstall and reinstall the latest version. Even if you already have the latest version reinstall it just in case

Still the same. I forgot to tell that when a companion join me there is a part exactly when you recive the perk and they say something. They dont say anythin but I can read the subtitles.

Then to resolve this problem you should check C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\Sound\voice\falloutnv.esm if you have one and rename or move folder fallout.esm to different location and check if there is any change, maybe one of mods replace some dialogs with silent voice. After this move back falloutnv.esm back to the his place.

Moved the folder to deksptop and play the game. Still the same, no voice to storage, to join companion and to wait here(follow me works).

Well I have no more ideas

Had this problem, and reported the bug on Nexus. I ended up fixing it by reinstalling it manually. The reason why it's doing it is because the files are overwritten by the update you have to download along with it. So everything is gone from the original file and is replaced by everything in the update file.

Then he only need to delete and verify update.bsa? Its makes sense , I hope this will work.

No. You just install the update over the esp and add the animation files to it. If you download it manually that'll make it a lot easier to do. Because I don't know how to fix it by downloading it through Nexus. Tried it through Nexus the first time and it didn't work. A way to tell if this is the problem if the file MaleAdult09 is missing from Data/Sound/Voice/TheStoryteller.esp. If it is then redownload the mod and only put the update's esp file in the data and replace the original esp, and then you'll just want to add the update's animation files to the location of the the original Storyteller files.
Basically he just needs to make sure he doesn't completely overwrite the original Storyteller files, overwriting it will be just feature the update files alone. So no videos, no dialogue, nothing but the new animations and the idle dialogue.

Ohhh no but I told you befeore that this happend not only with the storytelle but with all my companions, cass, boone, etc.

I'm not sure in 100% but you can try,you don't need to delete update.bsa temporary renaming or removing it its best way, always make backup. After steam verify files you should have new update.bsa and then everything should have work (I hope).

Just with companions? It may be because of some conflicting mod. That's my only idea for what the problem can be at this point.

Yeah just with companions and just with those lines. Ill try with the update.bsa if that doesnt work well its not a big deal.
