| "Under the Dome" by Stephen King. It's a lengthy read, but I highly recommend it, although in my opinion it kind of falls apart at the end. The Forerunner Series by Greg Bear - If you're a fan of Halo then you should know what to respect. I really enjoyed the lore it added to the Halo franchise. The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini - Dragons, magic, medieval warfare, this series has it all. There are 4 books, each being around 400-600 pages. I found it a good read, however your opinion may differ (obviously). |

| the Assassins Creed Books are quite good. Only the first 2 then brotherhood. I would just read the Ezio and Altair Books. the rest are trash. |

Yea I heard they were good. I still haven't finished Metro 2033 since I was playing it on the hardest difficulty and I got stuck. Might check out the books, they might inspire me to play the game some more and finish it this time. As for book recommendations, Murakami is one of the authors whose books i've been reading a lot lately. Try Wind-Up Bird Chronicles or Kafka on the Shore by him. Very interesting reads, they can get really weird though, maybe that's why I find them so interesting. |

| If you are a Star Wars fan try the Thrawn Trilogy. It starts with Heir to the Empire. Those books were by far my favorite book of all time. |

| Kurt Vonnegut. Anything. Especially his first novel Player Piano which is set in a semi-dystopian future where only a small percentage of people have jobs/purpose (the engineers) while the rest have everything taken care of for them but are completely miserable.
DISCLAIMER: The first 10 pages are an incredibly dull overly-descriptive rambling of setting. The rest is completely different.
EDIT: He also has tons of short stories. The ones from Welcome to the Monkeyhouse tend to have some dystopian future settings as well, especially the title short story (Welcome to the Monkeyhouse.) _________________ “The worst thing that could possibly happen to anybody would be to not be used for anything by anybody. | I've been reading The Martian, which is VERY good, is about an astronaut alone in Mars, trying to come back to earth. The writing is very smart and funny. I totally recommend. There's a movie version coming out soon. _________________ |

| If you haven't read any Stephen King's book yet, I recommend ''Running man''. It's easy to read (only 300 pages or so if I remember correctly) but still the story is really immersive |

| Dean Koontz is one of my favorite authors. Read "Odd Thomas"! It's the first in a big series. Also his Christopher Snow series is amazing. I believe the first title in it is "Seize the Night". They're both super natural thrillers with some sci-fi thrown in. They can be very cheesy in humor (great if you like that, I do but sometimes he goes overboard) and at the same time brutally dark. So worth the read. Great characters with odd, endearing quirks and good relationships.
Also, Chaim Potok's book "The Chosen" absolutely blew me away at the end. Some parts of it really frustrated me, but reading all the way through to the end... gives an incredible new perspective on the book as a whole. I cried. _________________ Servant to all, victim to none.

| Murder on the Orient Express is a great book if you enjoy detective books. I had to read it for English and I really enjoyed it. |

| Game of Thrones books. I'm getting into them now after starting the series (I know I'm late) and it's worth. _________________ "You're born small and weak, and you die small and weak, what you look like in between is up to you." |
