Ok so I want to create an armor mod from the scratch for Fallout NV. I've downloaded Blender, and have spent some time learning how to use it. Now I've just got to learn the steps from creating a model to making it a full blown piece of armor in the game, and I'm having a hard time finding any good tutorials or guides on how I can do this, and what I'll need to do it. Does anybody know of any good ones, or would be willing to guide a total scublord in the way of modding?

That what you are going to do is more then only modding. There are only a few people that made armor from scratch. I am sure that its not even done with a tutorial to learn this. Ist a 3d art. Perhaps its a bit easier to start making some weapons like knifes or swords and learning how to add textures, creating nomal maps......

Sorry that i couldnt help you with this. The tutorials i know are some basic stuff from youtube that you might already know. But i wish you good luck on your way.

Just wanted to say thanks again to everybody who posted. I've got all the required programs and am currently working through some troubleshooting and learning. Hopefully I can make something to be proud of in the near future.
