Hello everyone!

I'm new here. I've been playing the Fallout series since it first came out and every once in a while fire it up for a new play through. Since FO3 I've used mods to the point where it crashes and then loose interest. However, recently when I got back into FNV I took the time to really learn how to use some specific utilities appropriately and the quantum leap in stability has really piqued my interest in modding. When FO4 drops I would like to get more into modding by creating my own mods, most likely companion and quest mods.

In the mean time I am currently planning on creating a single mod for FNV this summer: a thorough companion mod. While F04 modding might be different, this will hopefully just be a great way for me to learn the basics of the GECK, and the general do's and don't's with modding.

That being said is there a specific forum or group where I can/should ask some basic modding questions or is the modding one the appropriate forum? Are there any guides/FAQs that I should look at here before I ask any questions?
