I would love if Obsidian were allowed to make another Fallout game that's closer to the originals and expands on plot lines that may of been left forgotten like the decay of the Brotherhood of Steel, the rise of Legion, and the Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel would be nice.

i would love a more Survival-ish mechanic, i mean, )when you have to actually take shelter, drink and eat regularly as well as many other things).
Maybe even a Nuclear Winter setting would be just perfect

Not sure if this has been said already, but I would definitely like to see firearm physics redone, i.e., bullet drop, bullet penetration, recoil, etc.

No actually I don't think anyone has said that, nor did I ever even think of that for Fallout but that could be actually really interesting!

I think it'd be best if features like this were optional, like possibly a "realism mode" in addition to the hardcore mode that has been added in FNV.

YES! Some game mechanic that exposes you to the elements like Cheskos Frostfall mod for Skyrim would be perfect. Also I do agree that the durations should be lowered slightly for Nutrition and Hydration.

Yeah, wjhere you can't stay out too long or you die in the cold or, on the contrary, for the hot tmperature if they really need to make it a desert wasteland...again.
ok for me guys Desert Wasteland has just become too old, why not making a nuclear winter like Metro and see how everything can change or making something strange caused by the Radioactivity like new flora?

What I really want is a make your own weapon kind of thing like a fully customizable AR with it's own special name that you give it and companions with backstories that actually impact the main storyline.

Obsidian gave us the pleasure to finish the game like we want xD

I like to see more weapon mods, larger map, more explorable places, better AI, and more populated areas.

I also think its time for them to use a different engine.

better graphics, more and better animations, more to do in the open world and more customization.

i'd like a city wasteland that really looks like one, Bethesda can't simply put 2 ruins and call it a ruined city, at least not for citys like Las Vegas and Washington DC, that's ridicoulous they are big citys and all we see is for LV four freaking buildings (unlike the big one full of lights that we saw in the trailer) and nothing more!

I also hate that they use the same old engine without ANY improvement and consequently can't freaking make something more because the AI can't handle it while in every decent game nowadays can handle them like nothing, like using LADDERS, in the Wasteland it's like no one knows what they are!
And one other thing, Bethesda, don't you DARE make a game come out UNFINISHED, in New Vegas there are more cut content than actually remaining one, factions like the legion are horrendously underdeveloped, bugs everywhere ( and i mean that there are REALLY lots of bugs) and a awful sense of emptiness in this game that can only be filled by  mods ( one thing i am immensely grateful of).
The Sandbox concept and setting are PERFECT but please, can you just fully complete ONE game at release for God's Sake?

Id absolutely play the heck out of it if it takes place in the bay area(San Francisco,Oakland,etc.) id still love it wherever it takes place so here's a very though out list of features I would love to be included in fallout.
-takes place in the bay area
-better and more customization modifications for weapons and companions.
-A multiplayer option
-The ability to have a unique character with a written background
-Better perks
-Drivable cars(Hard to get)
-Car modifications(Even harder to get)
-Large scale cities with access to most buildings
-Better loot system
-better and more melee and energy weapons
-Funner lockpick and hacking mini-game
-Less stupid AI when they see them or there buddies get shot
-A lot more variety of monsters,people,guns, and clothing
-Better HUD
-Improved physics and collision mesh
-Random events
-Humanity system

A bit more freedom? The games typically end with a single plot with very slight alternatives. No matter what you do, the result of place and choice are always the same. It'd be interesting if there were multiple different story lines for each factions. It'd be a tremendous task. Some mods have tried to do this, but are left behind after the difficulty of their endeavors are realized. Anyways, it'd be revolutionary! I though the ME Series would incorporate such a system in the games after allowing so many different decision-making processes, but it didn't.

As for the above... The Bay Area would be awesome! I've studied there for four years and it'd be awesome, but my greatest fear is that the location would make travel extremely linear.

more enemies and a goal so in fallout new vegas after you reach level 20 you can take on just about anything harder enemies would be cool and after killing every powder ganger in the ncr prison and the bison steve motel and the raider vault there really are not that many areas with alot of enemies so a giant area where you can kill alot of enemies like a end goal when you get a really good gun

I'd like more stuff to battle and atmosphere closer to Fallout 3. NV's twangy western-type setting just annoyed me, what with its saloons and stuff.

I'd also like to see a couple of vaults that aren't in disarray.

It be cool to see the Enclave appear again. The Enclave was an awesome enemy to fight in Fallout 3. I really wasn't prepared to see them completely gone from the Fallout series. Maybe they can make a come back some how in the next game.

I'd like some more regions. The tease that Fallout 3 and NV with the DLC was great, but it should be a MASSIVE game with plenty of new areas to explore once the old gets stale.
