They should have actual actor do the voices,and in tired of the doo doo robots,they need to be killing machines of death and fear,maybe cybernetic organ hunters will do

they need to have some tie in with new vegas/fo3, like hearing a story about some place called New Vegas and how a war was waged to secure the only major power source, or how some "vault dweller" purified all the water in the dc basin, little stuff like that

More realistic in general with how the player interacts with the environment. Even racism towards other humans not just ghouls would be cool like a group of people found a book about Nazis and then they became as evil as them and then there's also a resistance against them. I've said this before they need to make the first person better without having to download a mod for it. like smilymic said references to past games would be great too.

Probably already been said, but I'd kill for a playable ghoul race. It'd require some extra work to make it work, but fuck yeah I'd pay extra for it if it were a pre-order thing.

Also, I too would prefer it to be a lot more hardcore / realistic. Imagine Fallout 2 / 1 mechanics mixed in w/ 3d world and fallout 3ish mechanics! That'd be AWESOME.

Yea Hardcore is a must, and some kind of vehicle system, like in Fallout 2 (or is it Fallout 2) when you get the Highwayman. Or like Skyrim with its horses.

Also the ability to start and/or build a small settlement, similar to what the Real Time Settler mod does. That would be awesome.

Also a player voice would be unwelcome in my books.

And since it will likely be on the next gen consoles as well as PC, a photo mode (like The Last of US photo mode) for making screenshots easier and better.

I think they should be done, but not in realtime. It honestly takes the element out of fallout in that you're in a desolate wasteland, exposed, walking around. It just feels less... "Dangerous" if you're behind a few inches of steel. Maybe if it was a motorcycle or something that you could be shot off of or still attacked from and wasn't RIDICULOUSLY fast.

That's just my opinion though, don't mean to sound dickish.

I always wanted different ways to travel, of course there were mods that aimed to do that, but they didn't feel apart of the game. Caravans, mercenaries, Brotherhood of Steel patrols or anything of the sort, the player should be able to interact with them and have an option to join them during their travels (maybe even get paid to do so.)

There should be bigger cities, with more people and with more things to do. Side quests that are based inside the city would be nice. I want to see people starting fights with you or people that are trying to cheat you, the wasteland isn't filled with friendly people after all.

I was tired of shooting people in the head multiple times, just to see them continuing to charge at me. Sure there were mods to fix that but it's easy to realize how unrealistic it is. Oh and bullets need to have more of a punch, bullets felt like marshmellows in both games.

The leveling system in Skyrim was perfect, Bethesda should make a similar leveling system for the next Fallout.

And finally, more guns!

THIS. Yes please. Especially the leveling system. I always hated how I could learn to talk to people better by shooting up a bunch of innocent radroaches.

Also, is it wrong I'd like to see caps removed and instead a "Barter" system put in? Basically bartering as it is now, but w/o caps. Just valuables you find. It'd complicate everything and no more bribery, but it would make it feel a lot more hardcore. Just me tho.

I would defanitly agree a harsher waste land. Really make the game about survival. And make it truly hard to survive, make it a stuggle. Maybe even a different inventory system. Like you can carry a handgun on you side a rifle on you back and a melee weapon and then do a back pack that if its full thats what you can carry and when you go into the inventory you open up you backpack kind of like in the last of us. No fast travel but implement more ways of traveling like a horse but not actually a horse that would be to easy because they really dont belong in fallout. Like the brahmin its some mutated version of a cow so make some mutated version of a horse. maybe even be able to attach a wagon on your horse for storage purposes and what not. Make the need for camps so when your tired setup a tent make a camp fire cook food boil water for purification and what not. any way that would aim to make the game pretty amazing. I dont want an easy wasteland because you never really get to scared of areas your traveling in except that quarry but even then if you have the right gear its a cake walk.

An improved imventory system, maybe modeled after arma 3 with the implementations of backpacks and pouches, an FOV slider, a longer grind at the start (in past games I find my self out of the survival mode very quickly and I turn into an unkillable fetch quest machine.), and I also want more armor and weapon diversity.

I would personally like to see different player voice options, animation options, like for running, sprinting, walking, holding different weapons, etc. In the style of something like Saint's Row the Third. Goes a long way in connecting the "player" to "the player character".

Yeah I'd like some implementations added by some of the most prolific mods... Project Nevada, New Vegas Bounties... ETC

maybe dual wielding, a blank slate of a character (or like optional origin stories), cars? (XRE Cars so you can be all Mad Max), Getting to play after the ending and seeing the results of your actions unfold, much better animation etc

My friend and I had spent a long time discussing what we would like to see in fallout 4. Some things we really want are things like being able to prone, bigger world, and the ability to snipe from long distances. A dynamic wasteland where you could run into the middle of a faction fight and help out. We even thought that it would be cool to have different factions siege a place and take control of that location. E.g., a NCR base was raided and is now a Legion camp. Factions that are no longer so obviously good and bad, but you would overtime question the morals of the faction you joined and wonder whether they really are the right faction. Unique versions of every type of weapon, and much more quests. These are just some ideas we were having about what fallout 4 could be like or have!

I would like it to take place in the FO FO2 setting!

I want VATS to work when I need it ,the ability to shoot through glass and the big one.. no crashing!

I want the Commonwealth / Institute to be seen for once.. with a good amount of the advanced tech they supposedly have. I know it's rumored to be set there but it's my biggest wish right now.

On the other hand, I'd like to see the Texas area with those nuclear tornadoes lol.

No multiplayer, quests/side quests like skyrim, dual wield? Also the setting has to be in the California area.

Jury Rigging. I don't care about anything else. just jury rigging. If they don't put it in there, someone is going to have an angry letter written to them.

When they read it they will probably throw it away....

Assuming that everything in the previous fallouts stay then I would want to see a smarted AI, for example if I point my gun at an npc they should react with more then a line of dialog. They should either run, cower, or pull there weapon out. Also smarter when it comes to combat such as using cover, flanking, or blowing up cars and destructing your cover, which brings me to my next thing. Destructable environment, also if it's raining or snowing or some sort of weather it should cover you from sight a little but also hinder yours same with darkness. I also hope to see and expect a larger variety of content and bigger story.
