(Authors Note #2: Do to both this and energy weapons having four votes on the poll, I decided to go with Lamplight. So enjoy the story! )
There's a lot of strange cities out there. A city of people worshiping a tree man, a city that's filled with a bunch of people pretending to be a pre war singer named "Elvis", hell I even heard of a place where the can make robots that look so much like us they don't even know they're not human. But the place I'm about to tell you about is one of the weirdest of them all.
Out east in the Capital Wasteland, there's a place in the far northwest that's run by children. That's right [b][u]run[u][b] children. On the day that the bombs were dropped on October 23rd 2077, at least 80 students from "Early Dawn Elementary" were on a field trip to a place called Lamplight Caverns. Along with them were a few chaperones and a teachers. There the group spent many hours touring the deep caverns. Just as they were packing up to leave, the caverns began to shake. The kids began to scream as the lights went out, and one man from the group went out to see what was going on. Upon his return, he informed those within that the cave that the great war has come. All of the teachers slowly died off with the parents, until one remained a "Carrie Delaney" who set off to scavenge for food and never returned leaving the children to fen for themselves. And one of the older kids a "Jason Grant" assumed mayor of Lamplight in 2078. After exploring the cave they came across a Vault. But not just any Vault, for this was none other than Vault 97 the same vault that created the DC Super Mutants.
Perhaps it was luck that kept the Vaults engineer "Peter Stevens" from letting the children in, perhaps it was just a coincidence. Because Peter Stevens didn't let the children in thinking they were hallucinations of his dead son, Little Lamplight was spared from the Vaults demise when the super mutants murdered everyone in Vault 87. But do to them not being let in Little Lamplight they resented all Adults calling them "Mungos" and kicking them out of the Vault at the ripe age of sixteen. Being forced to being an outcast in a town called "Big Town" the leaders of Lamplight sugar coat it and call it a nice hospitable place, when really its a hell hole that never seems to not get attacked.
Wish I could say more about this place but that's all I seem to recall. Any who thanks for listening wastelanders, you've been listening to Pip-Boy Radio! Here's Billy Holiday with "Crazy he calls me." And we'll return after are scheduled program.

Very Informative! I really like this series. I can't wait to see what you do next. I always liked the story of Little Lamplite even though it is a tragic one. It is definelty interesting though. I really like the radio format of the writing and it sounds professionally done. Keep up the good work!
