| Lol sorry I didn't mean to, and um have anyone ever plays DayZ? The survival aspect of that game mixed with fallout?! In New York?! Scavenging for supplies? The raiders shooting out of buildings and robots patrolling the streets? Having to eat, drink, sleep and use other things to repair your equipment?! Omg I'm gonna explode!! |

| Nah but it's not as complex as DayZ I used hardcore mode in fallout but good is easy to get, there should be more hunting rather than animals being like npcs. Water shouldn't be so simple to get either, crafting canteens and using refillable water bottles should be great. Also there should be a way to fortify houses and what not! |

| I have to disagree with free climbing, but having deploable ladders that are hard to find would be really cool. |

| dude grappling hook would be really close to free climbing but it would be pretty cool. But remember people are people and will complain about every single thing possible XD. I love the ladder idea from husky though and a roleplay would be sick! _________________ - My Achievements:

| Idk I just would like to be able to climb on top of a building and snipe! I do wish I could fortify a house or building as a base of operations, is there a mod for that? And if I have the time I'm going to start a role play on the forums |

Or a bit like Far Cry 3&4 with the towers! It would be cool too but i agree on the ladder idea. And I think it would be cool when you could build a camp on big buildings or use them as Outposts. _________________ |

I guess i'm giving it a try today, thanks! Oh you definitely should, it's a great way to take a break from the normal wandering the wastes and mess around with 'defend the castle' style gameplay. It also works really well with real time settler http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/36922/? |

| Living in the upper east side I have some thoughts on this, Manhattan is built on solid granite so it wouldn't sink, also unlike New Orleans it's actually above the water table so there wouldn't be much flooding. There would be cars but they would mostly be crowded near the islands exits, and survivors would most likely move them or use them th fortify strongholds. Most of the wasteland seems to have been killed by fallout and not direct blast so most of the buildings could remain mostly intact. As far as climbing a grappling hook could be designed like the climbing rope arrows that were done for elder scrolls thief tools mod, and as for layout it should be something like the capital wasteland with Manhattan being much like the dc wastes, just with even more subway tunnels. |
