Subject: I come offering earth and water... Sun May 03, 2015 6:10 pm
Hello everyone! Like many (I'm sure) I saw some of Drag's race mods on deviantart and fell in love with his Big Boss mod. Somehow that was the first I've heard of this community, but I'm happy I have.
Since it's usually the thing to do, I'll tell you all a little about myself. I am 20 years old from the east coast of the United States. I have served in the U.S Army as an 11B Infantryman (Rifleman), and am now working at a feed mill until I can start college in the fall. I have been part of clans/communities in the past in games such as Star Wars: Republic Commando, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Battlefield 2142, Battlefield 2, Call of Duty Black Ops and a few others in my younger high school days.
It's nice to see a community that has people who respect mod authors and isn't overflowing with "Day 1 newbies" making nifscope weapons and retextured power armor. Nothing against you who do recreationall mod of course, but I think we can all agree that some should be left to the pros *cough*dragbody*cough*. I do some texturing and modding myself but have never released any on the nexus or otherwise since I do not have an inflated sense of my skills.
I can't wait to make some friends on here and see what it's all about. With working a 40 hr/week job it's hard for me to be as active as many but I definitely look forward to being a part of a forum/community again as I have years ago. Thank you!

@risefenix seems like someone I can get along with Guilty as charged. I was probably about eight years old when I first played Metal Gear on my good old PS1, so I've grown up addicted to it. Many thanks for the warm welcomes!

Alot of us came for similar things, I know what I wanted was the MOHW Gear. You'll find that the people here are truly worth staying; the mods are a bonus.
