| So,this was meant to be the next fallout before it got canceled which is a shame,Besides the pre alpha tech demo of it on No Mutants Allowed,Is there any other gameplay of it or any remakes of said game.If anyone does know if any videos or remake projects of the game send a link my way Via PM or in the comments. And i'm just gonna leave a poll up there to see what people would have rather seen _________________ - Sassy The Sasquatch 2012- My Achievements:

| @ObtainedDustWhen making threads like this, it helps if you offer your own opinion to spark the discussion. To answer your question, though, Fallout 3 hands down. |

| Well if i am to add my own opinion,i honestly prefer fallout 3 but i also do think it would have been interesting to explore the world that would have been created by Van Buren,Like exploring this like the hoover dam in that game,Looks a lot more interesting then the fallout NV version of it. But fallout 3 took the step into the right direction with the 1st/3rd person game play of it and making really immersive to explore the capital wasteland and extremely fun to engage in gun fights with enemies _________________ - Sassy The Sasquatch 2012- My Achievements:

| That sums up how I feel pretty well. Despite being almost 7 years old, I still very much enjoy the combat of Fallout 3, and the mood/atmosphere of the Capitol Wasteland is second to none. And the fact that it is so incredibly moddable is win. |

| And as i was saying in my previous comment about the hoover damn in Van buren.i would have loved to see this in vegas, because the NV version seems so boring - Spoiler:

| Fallout 3 hands down, never really enjoyed the turn based combat in the previous games. Even tho v.a.t.s. borrows some elements from it.
But would have been nice to see what van buren could have turned out to be |

| Fallout 3, can't really stand turn-based combat, need mods after the vanilla game is done, and the beautiful graphics of FO3, as well as everything that FO3 contained, including that wonderful nod to H.P Lovecraft. And it would be awesome to have that dam settlement in either FO3 or NV, it does look damn pretty. _________________ :hellobig: I spend my time watching youtube, playing mods for Fallout 3 and NV as well as Skyrim. XD okay, that was a good one lol. But still, they really should have put that in game, at least in a nod to Van Buren. _________________ :hellobig: I spend my time watching youtube, playing mods for Fallout 3 and NV as well as Skyrim. | While I will always have a place in my heart for FO1&2 Van buren just wasnt going to be enough of a move forward. Bethesda did the series the most service and making it moddable I mean FO3 is still alive now thanks to communities like this one. Van Buren would be a distant memory if it was released |

| Agreed @vandenburger, and if it was moddable, I don't think it would have been as moddable as FO3, the gamebryo may have its flaws, but it is fantastic for complex modding. _________________ :hellobig: I spend my time watching youtube, playing mods for Fallout 3 and NV as well as Skyrim. | This is hard. I don't like the story/writing as much in fallout 3 when compared to the original fallout games and the van buren story sounded really cool. But the gameplay in fallout 3 was much better. And if van buren was made fallout new vegas probably wouldn't exist. So I'll have to go fallout 3 |

| Yeah flame you make a good point,Like i said before, fallout 3 took a step in the right direction with it's game play but the story left much to be desired compared to 1/2 and that is where i think van buren would have probably out shined fallout 3. But New Vegas built on the fallout 3 formula and made a really great game with a pretty good story in my opinion. _________________ - Sassy The Sasquatch 2012- My Achievements:
