I've been trying desperately to change a static item into a misc item with physics. I've searched, and searched and tried and tried, but I can't seem to find a solution. I've already tried adding Havok physics to the item in Nifskope, but it didn't work. Basically, I want to be able to shoot at something, and it react the way a garden gnome or bucket would. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What static item are you trying to change?

well you could try replace a misc items mesh and texture with that of a furture (for example a table or chair) it could work but im not sure they would be functional right away without adding the chairs script i hope this makes sense lol

I looked around for quite a bit on google and some other forums, but I can't find a step by step to make a static obtain havok physics.

As far as using a static to misc item I had no luck, I unpacked a few statics from the BSA and gave a misc item a replacer and a new entry, but neither would react to any contact or impact. I know it's super easy to turn a misc item to a static, I've done that a 1000 times, but the reversal has me stumped. The only items I've had retain their phsyics when turned to static were ingestibles such as steak, but the reversal of that isn't what you looking for and would probably end with the same result.

I've accepted that using a static as a movable object is past my knowledge for now. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
