Finally found some time to introduce myself! Names Josh, but ya'll can call me Chip. Been playing modded games for two years but I'm still quite a noob, so please forgive my stupidity in advance. I'm also quite new to forums, so please bear with me if I seem to have no idea what I'm doing. Anyway, it's great to finally be apart of a modding community!

Nice to meet both of you guys! It's great to meet some cool folks who are into modding; most of my friends are into console gaming which really doesn't cope well with mods.

Ahh when it comes to games like fallout it is always suppose to be for PC forget consoles. Mods make it so muchg better.

I agree with you guys, I first started playing FNV on console about 4.yrs ago and switched over to pc about a year after that. Btw Alpha, I couldn't agree more, Fallout was meant for pc.

It's incredible how accessible Bethesda made FNV to modders. I just hope Fallout 4 resembles NV in that aspect, if we ever see it released that is.

You know funny story when i first got Fallout new vegas was by Torrent after that i brought it.

I have no doubt in my mind that it will indeed be released. I just hope they wont charge for the new Geck.

Yeah I've heard of a lot of people doing that Veteran, it really is that good of a game.

Yeah that would be a low blow if they charged for the GECK. If they did it would have to be God's gift to the world though. I can hardly get the current GECK to run on my PC.

Ha, it was a very unstable Geck, but it was free, so I could afford it lol.

Veteran, the GECK is a tool Bethesda gave us for Fallout 3 and NV. It allows us to mod the game using assets currently in it. Unfortunately, I'm an idiot and never learned how to fully use it lol.

Surprisingly, its not as tough as one would think. When you first use the Geck, it looks confusing as can be, but its relatively easy to use. But the unstableness of it can really make a person mad.

Lol the last time I used it, I had to go unleash my anger at the shooting range. Haven't booted it up since lol.

Lol, I usually sit staring at the monitor for about 5 mins, cussing very quietly. Then I just restart it again.

If there is one underlying cause for alcoholism in modders, its probably the GECK crashing.

It would come as no surprise to me, luckily I don't drink alcohol, because if I did the house would be filled with empty bottles thanks to the CK's.
