For some reason no matter what my fps is low and stays the same regardless if I lower the resolution and settings. My game usually runs around 30 in most places and the lowest I have ever seen it drop to was 25 with all my mods and at medium settings and now its at 15 or lower when im roaming outside and 20 to 19 when im inside somewhere The only mods I have installed in the past few days is New Vegas bounties 1 and 2 and The Inheritance which these shouldn't have caused such a drop in performance I wouldn't think. Anyone know what else could be causing this?

I can't find out a problem with just three mods, post here yours configs, loadorder, enb, and maybe a screenshot ingame using msi afterbuner or something similar.

I may know what it is. Lower and then disabled ALL your settings related to WATER. Anything and all that is related to the Water Quality and stuff, disable it and run the game again, see how it goes!

i noticed a ridiculous fps hit when i installed new vegas bounties 1 so i uninstalled it and re installed it and somehow that fixed it, it may or may not work for you but thought id share what i did lol

Try using the 4GB enabler.

I'm not aware of the rules about ''unofficial'' copies that are obtained via other means than steam, then you might want to check out http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php.
It works on illegitimate copies.

No disrespect, but if the rig is crappy and outdated, no matter how much you polish it, it will always remain crappy. If however you can run other games at a decent framerate, then one issue may be if you're using the stutter remover. I believe that has an FPS clamp, which needs to be altered in the *.ini.

You can try and use CFF Explorer as well. Install it, right click on the main game executable, open with CFF Explorer, on File Header you will see Characteristics, and to the far right at the end of it you will see a bluish part saying Click Here, it will open a a tiny box with Check Box options.

In the box you just need to Check the box that says: App can handle >2gb address space. Then you will need to leave, it will ask you to save, you save with the exact same name as the executable and just start up the game.

This is basicly the 4GB Enabler if you want to do by yourself.

Are you running on Windows 8.1?? thats what happened to me when i had FNV on my gaming laptop. Unfortunately installed Win 8.1 and now there is no going back
