What do you think, what is the worst weapon in the game? I'm talking about the appearance. I hate the plasma rifle, she is clumsy and keep it in your hands is not nice.

kent1100, EVE solves the problem.

Honestly, my biggest gripe in the Fallout games are the melee weapons. It's probably because of the engine but they feel like a flimsy mess. That and some of the reload audio sounds like plastic rubbing up against each other :/

I've never liked the revolvers. They look too bright, almost toy like.

I think the magnum looked okay, but I can't remember. The only revolver I ever used regularly was the Ranger Sequoia. Now THAT is a pretty weapon.

The most slop weapons in the game for me was the early starting shotguns.

They were not ideal because some of them can only hold 1-2 shells per chamber.

To be totally honest, most of the vanilla weapons are kinda ugly. They just looks so much better with Millenia's textures.

The Binoculars.

Without mods they are very useless,they don't even zoom.I ever wondered what Bethesda/Obsidian thought about when they threw them into the game,they just don't make any sense.

Eyy cmon man, the binoculars actually are kinda useful. In the early game you don't get any weapons with scope, so you can use them a lot for scouting out areas. Also they do add a bit of immersion to the game.

Yes this is right I always have a pair of them with me for immersion,but still just because of mods wich make them better.
As I played the game for the first time on Xbox I was glad when I found some,as I finally wanted to do this Sniper and Spotter thing I was pissed that zoom only a little.
But if you have a very well modded game you just can't walk out of goodsprigns even Doc's house with empty hands .

The assault rifle looks like a toy for me.

The Re-charger Weapons there not very effective I don't feel like I have ever got a kill with them despite having unlimited ammo

I don't like the appearance of many of the vanilla guns as they are, a lot of them don't look too good without Millenia's re-textures, as @CoyoteYeah also said above.

Anyway to answer the question I think I'll agree with you on the Plasma Rifle. It's a really strange looking weapon aha

For me, I personally didn't like the plasma caster. It just seemed really off of the overhaul feeling of the plasma weapons. For example with the laser weapons, I associated them with a general box/industrialized appearance that really fit in with idea of the arms race for new tech during the Great War. As for the normal plasma weapons (with EvE in mind.) they looked unique in the sense that it seemed more time and effort was put in the creation of them due to the fact that one there was more time placed into the construction and two due to the fact that the great war was over, the need for streamlined less resource intensive was gone. So for the plasma caster to do a 180 and just be a box with a metal rod sticking out, I was like what is this? I wouldn't have minded if they treated it like a homemade plasma weapon, but it's supposedly one of the regular plasma weapons.

Just my thoughts though because at the end of the day, this savage prefers the feel of a slug-thrower/ballastic weapon in his hand.

I would say the 10mm pistol. Its one of the first weapons you can get early on in the game, yet it looks so ugly, but you have to use it, because it does more damage then most of the other weapons your carrying. Even with Mill's re-texture mod, its still so hard to look at. 

The plasma and laser weapons. The plasma rifle, and pistol look like a crude eldritch mess crossed with something bored R&D developers make. Using them makes me feel like I am using spit wads to hurt people.

The plasma caster, and defender both look like cheap knock offs of the P94 and Glock 86. While it is nice to have them back, they are not as interesting to look at. (Not to mention the p94 feels piddly when it really does more damage then the plasma rifle)B

Laser weapons just plain out suffer from looking boring. (excluding the RCW)

But then again, classic weapon replacers fixes everything.
