hey guys does anyone know if its possible to use optics of new vegas with mod created weapons, such as millienas weapons and that type of thing, is this possible and how could we do this. any suggestions would be appreciated..... I cant tell u  how much I hate the standard scope overlays

The author said he will upload instructions on how to,but he said it is a little complicated (if I recall right..)So I assume you will need to know the basics of Geck.If he did not upload instructions you should pm him and ask for them/when he is going to release them.

The mod author did put up instructions on giving a scoped weapon the actual scope, not just the overlay. If you're technical and want to get your hands dirty, then you could go that route. The guide is available under the articles section on the nexus.

But, the mod author said that he is actually working on a WotNM patch, so if you just wait, you could just download that and profit.
