Hi guys I'm just posting this time just to ask any experienced modders about software for creating armors in Autocad. If I was to learn how to use auto cad would it help in creating mods or would it be a waste of time.

I have no knowledge in Autocad but i can tell you how i model my armor/weapon mod´s.
For modelling stuff im using the programm 3ds max, not gonna lie it´s not very beginner friendly but it covers probably everything you will ever need when modelling stuff.
A more beginner friendly alternative to that would be Cinema 4D i used it when i started out and it was much much better for me as a newbie.
.....and of course Motivation... if not the most important thing about modding... if you dont start liking what you are doing then...
no kidding People are underestimating how much "FUN" influences what we do.
By the way here you have a Skyrim/Fallout Armor Tutorial by Nightasie:
it´s a pretty long series but it should give you a rough idea on what you are trying to achieve

Thanks for the advice and I'll be sure to give the cinema 4d program a go but I also have to ask. In 3d max can I modify models from fallout and can I do the same in cinema 4d.
