Hello everyone, as some of you know I play my game like an RTS.  My character works for the empire, and I am currently taking on all factions of fallout, conquering land for the empire. To do this I use a modified version of Enclave commander which I am able to edit the troop trees.  

Thus far I have 4 troop trees that I can call in, to do a variety of tasks but not limited to holding territory that I have conquered.   If you've seen my screens you'll know what im talking about.

I am looking to make 2 more star wars oriented troop trees, that are based around the Empire in some way.  With the help of Cpt.Rex's mods I have been able to expand the variety very much.

My current troop trees are as follows.  

1. Basic Empire Troop Tree

1. Storm trooper (standard blaster,moderate armor-hp)
2. Scout trooper sniper (scout trooper w/sniper)
3. Heavy storm trooper (heavy armor w/tesla cannon)
4. Dark trooper (android) (heavy blaster, android high DT)
5. Dark trooper stealth (sniper variant) (same as above but w/gauss gun)
6. Imperial Officer (blaster pistol, plasma grenades,ability to hack and command others)



2. Mandalorians

1.Mandalorian deathwatch soldier (mando blaster)
2. Mandalorian infiltrator (sniper weapon,cloak ability)
3. Mandalorian heavy assault fighter (heavy blaster,high DT)
4. Mandalorian Veteran (blaster weapon,plasma grenades)
5. Mandalorian Commando (heavy repeater, plasma grenades)
6. Mandalorian Enforcer (blaster and blaster pistol,grenades, high DT)


3. Advanced empire troops

2. Dark Trooper MK2 (heavy repeater, high DT, Android)
3. Storm trooper incinerator (fire based weapons)
4. Imperial knight red guard (advanced blaster weapon, grenades high DT)
5. Shadow Trooper Sniper (sniper weapon, stealth ability)
6. Storm trooper commander (Good AI, good Dt, blaster pistol, pulse grenades, and ability to carry supply.)

4. Republic Clone Trooper Faction

1. Basic Clone Trooper (heavy blaster,good DT, Good AI)
2. Republic Arc Captain (heavy blaster, or shotgun blaster, good DT, good AI, grenades)
3. Republic Assault clone (very heavy blaster,high HP, good DT, solid AI)
4. Republic 501st soldier (heavy blaster, excellent soldier AI, ability to lead separate patrols, good DT)
5. Republic Black ops clone (high stealth ability, sniper rifle, good AI, hacking ability)
6. Republic Clone field commander (good AI, ability to carry loads, light blaster, plasma grenades, can lead patrols)


So as you see, these are the 4 factions i've created that i can call in as not only my troops to lead, but to lead other troops in my game.

I'm pretty good at doing troops trees, so I would like your suggestion on what factions I should create. each troop tree can hold 6 different soldiers (sometimes more)


Right now I'm having an issue with NCR trying to re-take Mojave Outpost In my game faction patrols can consist of 30-50 troops, so right now they are sending large amounts of forces daily to re-take the area.   This screen shows my current troop areas, and the red X shows the road they are using to bring men in.  

Troop locations :

As you can see, they run their troops single file down the road, I have set up snipers and ambush troops along the road to try and cut them off.  

Again the question is, what 2 troop trees should I create, each with 6 troops, and what am I missing from my current roster.

I have an idea for one.

Imperial Auxiliary Stormtrooper Corps
1. Imperial Stormtrooper
2. Imperial Officer
3. Scout Trooper
4. Imperial Stormtrooper MK II
5. Heavy Stormtrooper
6. Stormtrooper Commander

The purpose of any Imperial combat unit is:

- To fight and win any war or conflict where Imperial forces are deployed.
- To deter any potential enemies of the Galactic Empire.
- To dominate and destroy any enemy of the Galactic Empire.
- To project the will of the Empire across all Imperial Territory.
- To protect the legitimate ruler of the Galactic Empire from all threats.
- To protect and support militarily any allies of the Galactic Empire.
- To maintain the Security and Order guaranteed to Imperial Citizens by the Galactic Empire.
- To route out and destroy any threats to that Security and Order.

The Stormtrooper Corps is no different in regards to the above duties, however there are also specific tasks required of a Stormtrooper unit:

- To provide a rapid response and first strike capability against any threat.
- To conduct peacekeeping and counterinsurgency operations deemed too dangerous for standard Imperial Army units.
- To be skilled in Operations in any theatre or terrain, on land, water, in the air and in space.


The Auxiliary Corps differs from the standard Stormtrooper Corps in that, unlike normal Stormtrooper units which are made up mainly of Cloned Troopers augmented with Naturally Born Troopers, the Auxiliary Corps is primarily made up of Naturaly Born Troopers and the forces of understrength standard Stormtrooper units and other undeployed reserves.

Nice suggestion Templar, love it. So they are almost like a policing force eh? I need something like that, because I can't be everywhere to command at once. Love this idea. I'll have to think of armor/weapon configs for them as well to match their purpose. If you notice on the map in the pic, from what is shown I control about 1/4 of the map. I use my current units stationed at bases ive either captured or created, to "police" the areas. However, this unit could be used to patrol the roads from patrol markers i create.

Get heavy troopers!I mean if Rex ported some minigun or some cannons in his Star Wars weapon pack it will be good if you have some Heavy Troopers but i dont know what armor for them to wear though.

I'm thinking of adding a few more heavy, currently every troop tree has at least one heavy troop.

Standard stormtroopers have a one with heavy stormtrooper commando armor, and a tesla cannon

Mandalorians have an assault troop that uses the gatling laser weapon

Advanced stormtroopers have the heavy android dark trooper, very heavy armor and it's an android using the imperial heavy repeater.

Republic troopers have an assault trooper that uses a heavy blaster rifle and assault trooper armor with good DT.

I may take templars idea, and add some type of "policing squad" which will include a heavy troop in it, just thinking of the armor and wep for him at the moment.

It's a real shame that NPC's don't have the AI to use the Jet Pack mod.
Having a squad of Jumptroopers would be a real blast, you can use one yourself but it's not that fun alone.

If you ask me I would probably create a Recon/Sniper oriented troop, for scouting out enemy posts from a good vantage point, and provide covering fire for assault troops.

I agree, I would love to give my mandalorian squad "working" jetpacks. I like the stealth idea, NCR does not deal well with stealth units, especially ones that can cloak at night. Thinking of an all stealth based empire/republic faction. Something like that could work.

Heavy Troops, I have my own and there's noting better than the sound of screaming bloody murder, as they torn limb, from, limb by a storm of bullets. Infact its quite funny.... ha.....Ha ha...... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAH!!!!!!
