Hi everybody!
First of all let my express my admiration. @Dragbody, @Tru3th and all the other VGU modders (sorry, I'm new here and do not know everybody yet). You're doing great job makinf a very god game a marvelous one.
I'll be honest - the only reason I got registered on VGU is the access to dragbody's armors and the other great mods that give me absolutely new feeling when I play Fallout New Vegas. The original game is very good. It's the best postapocaliptic game ever made so far. But you should agree it is not up to date now, especially concerning its design (engines, textures, lightning, items e.t.c.). But the additional content you provide here - ENBs, weapons, armors and other mods, make the game playable for a really demanding player such as myself. And I'm sencerily grateful for that.
I respect VGU rules and understand their necessity (especially when we talk about armors from other games converted for F-NV and the need to prevent uncontrolled spread), but I really don't understand how can one get your promotion if he is not a modder and not very talkative guy having very limited experience communicatiing on forums (yes, it's me :-))
I can't provide any real help for modders as I am completely zero in the subject and making a screenshot of my gameplay is allready a task for me :-) And I'm really shure you don't need some pointless silly out of subject posts in your discussions. So I'm in real trouble on gaining any reputation here on VGU...
A little long post came off, but I've been cummulating time for several days to make it :-)

Hey man, welcome to the vgu! Basically the way to get promotion is in the promotion faq, post, be friendly, active, and get screenshots when you can. Make friends here and enjoy the community, and the promotion will come in time, just gotta have some patience. But remember the motto, come for the mods, stay for the community!

Welcome man. You shouldn't worry about promotion, if you are respectful member it will come in time. I'm not a modder too, but I've never been thinking about when I'm gonna get promoted. I would log in when I had time, comment on some interesting topics, and one day I got promoted, it was unexpected. Just when you get promoted don't disappear

hey danbrother,
welcome to our community. you dont have to bring any skills to get promoted. and also you dont have to make "silly topics". stay a bit here and look how its all going. perhaps there is a topic you are interested in. you say you are a zero in modding and making screenshots. so why dont you learn it. there are lots of tutorials here too. so be activ and respectfull thats all.

Cruz011, thanks for advice. It took me some good time to learn how to implement mods to my game and fix the constant crashes. Mabe will get to learn a little more :-)

:-))) now that we got acquainted my respect is all yours ;-)
By the way I do have a quastion. What tool do you modders use to avoid constant crashes and increase stability of the game when you run all the stuff you post on the screenshots? I use Fallout New Vegas Optimized by AdayDr1en (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/46302/?), but it has an issue with archive invalidation.
Maybe there's a point in starting a thread "favourite bug fixer"?
