| I'm highly unsure if this is the place to put this but, I attempted to ask for help on Nexus and got nothing so here goes:
I'm having an issue that appears to be caused by the dynamic depth of field (DYNAVISION). When aiming down the sights of any weapon, modded or not, if the depth of field changes the gun will become slightly translucent. It's in no way game breaking but I find it breaks immersion a fair amount.
My suspicion is that it's a small incompatibility with the enhanced camera mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55334/?) I'm using. No real idea though. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. |

| Are you using an enb by any chance? Sometimes enb's with custom presets can cause this issue. |

| No ENBs. I don't think my computer could run FNV with them and the installation process seemed far too tedious to bother with if all it really did was tank my frames.

| I had those same mods, but I don't have that problem. Are you certain it has something to do with dynavision? Or could it be any other mod? Also, could you post a screenshot of your problem? _________________ |

| Oh yeah that's because you have Depth of Field, it's probably because you have it to high, try to lower your depth of field and see if that works. _________________ |

| Lowered the DOF blur through MCM. Less blur, same problem. Was only set to medium initially anyway. Did I entirely misconstrue what you meant by lowering it? If so, how do I go about doing what you had meant? |

| How about turning it off completely, does this still happen? _________________ |

| Then it's just that, I don't really think it's a problem with the game. Just choose if you like it more with DOF or without it. Hope this helped at all. _________________ |

| Alright. I still feel like there ought to be someway to fix this, especially considering that I've not heard of anyone else with this problem. Thanks for your time and help though. |

| I had this problem... just use the latest binaries, they don't have that problem... hope that helps

| Sorry about the severe delay, was busy with other things for awhile. Recently reinstalled and got my mods up and running, am having the same issue still. I don't understand what you mean by "the latest binaries". I'm running the most up to date version of New Vegas on steam, all my mods are up to date, the only things that show up when I google FNV binaries are things to do with ENBs which, as said when asked initially, I don't use. I know this is an issue with DYNAVISION DOF but, it's not an issue that anyone else seems to be having so, I figure I'm doing something wrong. |
