| I'm contemplating whether of not to install Tale of Two Wastelands, what are your thoughts on it? Is it stable? Is it compatible with regular mods you install for NV or FO3? _________________ [img]https://i.imgur.com/OKHzKlX.gif[(700px,250px)][/img]

| It's compatible with all New Vegas mods as far as I know, however Fallout 3 mods require porting. They have a tool on their website you can use to do that, but most of the popular ones have already been ported and you just need to download the modified esm/esp from their forums.
Its stability hasn't been an issue for me, unless you count slightly longer loading screens. Though that might just be due to the rest of the mods I have. |

| I would recommend giving it a try easily, only just started playing it recently and i've already fallen in love with playing through fallout 3 again |

| Be sure to look through the mod releases and stuff for patches to NV mods to make them compatible with TTW. for example, Project Nevada was really messing up my TTW experience till I downloaded the patch, cos it crashed every time good'ol dad brought me to play with hot-in-the-future Amata. |

| hmm guess i got kinda luck PN is working just fine so far. It's just other mods im worried about, like, if i install a weapon or armor mod and it's located in Doc Mitchell's house, I'd be screwed lol _________________ [img]https://i.imgur.com/OKHzKlX.gif[(700px,250px)][/img]

You'd still be able to get it - just find the train station in DC and catch a train to the Mojave and pick it up. But yeah, you wouldn't be able to get it at the start of the game after you leave the vault. |

| It's a quite stable mod. It's actually the only way I can play FO3 without the vanilla game crashing on the Bethesda logo.
The best part is that you not only get to play both games in one game, but you get to use mods made for either game in both games. So many great mods made for FO3 that take a ton of work to port into New Vegas that now only require running a script and adding a few masters in with FNVEdit. |

| Hi panzer the mod works really well but the only problem I found was with broken steel where meshes were missing but I'm not sure if it was a problem unique to my game. |

| I don't have Fallout 3, only New Vegas, and no I'm not asking if I can play with just one. Anyway, I'm planning on getting Fallout 3 one day, and I'm wondering if I should play through normally first or just go straight to TTW. What do you guys think, let me know, thanks in advance! _________________ |

If you prefer the new vegas engine and like project nevada I suggest using TTW as your experience will be way better plus you will have a larger amount of armours in the wasteland as you will have both fallout 3 and new vegas weapons and armours plus other items and you can use mods from fallout new vegas plus bring mods only in fallout 3 to new vegas. |

It'd be slightly difficult just playing Fallout 3 standalone, as New Vegas has a lot of improvements over 3 (i.e. Companion wheel, weapon mods, etc.). So if you think you can handle not having some of those features then you can by all means play 3 on its own. However if you think you wouldn't be able to play without those things, would want some of the New Vegas weapons/armor, or be able to go to the Mojave when you feel like it then you'll want TTW. |

| Having never beat FO3 I have been considering installing TTW too, especially since its spring break. Something about the epicness of both campaigns resonates fairly well with me. |

| So far with my experience TTW is pretty easy to download and install. That being said I havent had too much time to download and really perfect a load order yet and play with some mods. But really give it a try you have nothing to lose! Good luck and good modding friend. |

| Having put over 300 hours each into Fallout 3 and NV for console, I was always envious of the PC community with their ability to mod and make the game personalized for them. With the addition of this mod for PC, it combines two great games, and it reignited a spark in me to roam the wastelands again. |
