Which side you choose in Fallout NV ?

NCR

I originally chose the NCR for my first playthrough and for my second playthrough I picked the Legion but I prefered the NCR.

I don't think this post is in the right place but...

My first playthrough, i went with Mr House, then i ended independent with Yes Man, then, my favorite ending with Benny-as it fits my character better, always playing rogue, cunning and after money-, never went with NCR because i don't like them but neither with Legion, because i don't know how would that work... i am no mass murderer for a vision of some dude, the legion is a bunch of terrorists if you ask me, i don't fit among then, unless its money envolved. And i dont kill the Caesar, as i killed him only once, and it was gamebreaking as you kill the most infamous guy in the game, and the legion still strong, all you hear is "OMG you killed Caesar, whatever"... had to start again a playthrough with more than a 100 hours just because of that

Till now have mostly gone with the NCR, considering I'm pretty much always playing good karma. they seem to be the best choice for me. I realize they aren't by any standard's a perfect faction; they are bureaucratic, expansionist, probably a bit corrupt and seem to be following a rather bad example in the old world government. they still are the best choice amongst the rest of the factions for a good karma playthrough at least fro me. Playing as a hero always kinda felt right for me you know. well that's for me at least

I tend to choose Yes Man. It seems like the perfect story for the courier. Gets shot, only mission is revenge, but while doing it rises to glory and becomes the leader of Vegas

First time with NCR, because game really pushes you towards them if u are playing for the first time, second time i was with Mr. House, and now i will probably go with Yes Man. I really don't like legion or ncr, and i won't independent Vegas so yea he is the best option, even tho i will play as evil character legion doesn't really cut it for me, i don't wanna have some slaves lurking around, either i will leave whole towns untouched or i will murder everyone, so yea it's be or not to be we will see. I think i prefer Yes Man or NCR because i don't have to kill BoS, really like those guys, and is there better feeling than beating a 200 years old rotting corpse with 9 iron? take that Mr. House (still love your robots tho)

I chose NCR because they were the only thing that resemble close enough to a stable military.

I chose the NCR because these guys are doing the right thing and do not behave like bandits from Legion. Also they have a powerful army.

On-topic, I sided with NCR the first (and only) time I played through most of New Vegas. I liked most of the characters I came across in my dealings with them.

In my first play through, I chose Yes Man and I've probably had 80+% of my characters repeat the Yes Man ending. I just have a hard time siding with the NCR or Legion and House is alright for an independent Vegas but why not run it yourself? But then again House is a wealth of pre-war knowledge and would be a good ally so long as he doesn't see you as expendable.

I would definitely do more Legion-aligned characters if it were a fleshed out faction. There just isn't much to do besides slaughter NCR citizens. You're better off staying independent (or at least appearing to be independent) up until pretty late game then side with the Legion after you've done plenty of quests.
