Lately I've played with a Geth Pyro, the gnome I've showed, and Leliana. Its a nice mix of combat styles that tends to make short work of most things we come across.

Richard B. Riddick. He understands what revenge means. No merc will stand in our way; the Courier from beyond the grave and the last Furyan. Saviors of the wastes...or it's destroyers?
Oh yea, and Fawkes, he was a bad@ss lol.

I feel like at this point companions that are worth it are the ones with a deep background. Sure, seeing a character model from other games are fun for a while but they don't carry the same weight as vanilla companions or modded companions like Willow or Niner. Still, it's nice to know Snake is watching my back

FO:3 - Fawkes and Jericho FO:NV - Veronica and J.T (J.T. is part of the Willow companion mod) Mass Effect series - Garrus and Williams (the Gunnery Cheif, also a "she") Skyrim - Lydia (She just feels like a friend to me, don't know why...)

Boone from you guessed it, fallout new Vegas. He never seemed like a bad guy to me and just want's his wife back. He also had a good story behind him which gives that attachment to the character that you need to like him.

In New Vegas I really liked Veronica. I usually liked to play as a melee/unarmed character and I usually liked it most when my companion wasn't ranged and stole my kills lol. That and BoS is like my favorite faction from Fallout period.

I was just browsing the forums and saw Drag's Daryl Dixon mod. I haven't had New Vegas installed in about a year and I'm considering re-installing just to play with him. I don't even know if it's voiced or not, I don't care.

Oh probably Boone since he always seems like the 'original' companion, since I always picked him up first. Plus his quest is a lot more interesting than the others. maybe Cass as second place. On Skyrim I'd probably just grab Cicero, that crazy, crazy creep

aaa, companions, best part of fallout games, i must say that my favorite vanilla companion is Cass, when ever I play game I must have her with me, she is best companion in NV if u ask me. I like here story, voice, dialog, appearance, everything about her is perfect, as for companion mod I must say it is Willow, I guess everyone knew her so I dont need to talk about it, but there are other companion mods that I like and other vanilla also.

Recently its been Veronica for me, along with one of the dogs I found loitering around Goodsprings, he's called Shrapnel and he likes to play fetch with landmines and grenades. The dog is loyal clearly but with Veronica I felt like roleplaying getting to know her and being besties that take on whatever the Wasteland throws at them.

In fallout 3 my first companion was Dogmeat and he's been pretty much the only one I use in that game ever since. I do like to use fawkes from time to time when doing mission with lots of enemies or if i'm going to old olney or evergreen mills. However, dogmeat has always been my main companion for fO3.
In New Vegas my first companion was boone and he's pretty much my bro. I'll just give him his rifle and tell him to stand back and I'm always covered. I also like to use ED-E. He's like my floaty robotic sidekick. I reaaly liked how they made him a big part of Lonesome Road too because I always did take this unexplainable liking to him that my friends never understood.
Russell becuse...wel i dont actully "trust" him he seems ike he wants to kill me if i aim a gun at him but hes fun vanalla i would go with raul and ed-e because they are useful and storyed and you can listen to they're stories anytime
