I normally play as a bounty hunter with extensive tactical knowledge, giving me an edge in the field. Using Role-player's Alternative Start I can even select a that as my history and gain a perk for it. My playthroughs are spent in sneak at least 50% of the time. This is a necessity since I play on the very hard setting with Realistic Weapon Damages and die almost instantly, even with adequate armor. I'd say my signature weapon in any playthrough would have to be the M4A1. That is, if you can't already tell from the screenshots I post or from my signature.

My play style is quite simple, if there is a way of making money out of it, i'm in, i don't care for a side, if in the end i'll get a few caps richer. I'm a rogue, cunning, quick-thinker, can handle myself in a gunfight, but don't even know how to turn on a terminal. I like an casual adventure, as i travel the wastes, doing some jobs to the Powdergangers, killing some bounties for the NCR, always avoiding Legion, as i am a guy they would love to put in a cross. Robbing a bank or casino is fine by me, as it would be a fun thing to do in a afternoon, but hugging people for the Followers, hell no! To get more technical, as i am a smartass my speech and perception and inteligence is high, as my agility is very high for drawing my piston and puting 3 bastard in the ground before they even point their guns at me. Luck? i never left a casino with more money than when i entered. I can survive in the wilderness, but live there? hell no. What is the point of making money if you live somewhere you can't spend? Booze and hookers its a good reward in the end of the day, and i always make sure to spent it all with that and gambling so i can begin another day looking for some "work".

I kind of play as a cheat character. Right from the start of the game, I max out my character's stats, and upgrade him using the augmentations available through Project Nevada. I justify this by doing a bit of roleplaying, and also by playing on the hardest difficulty.
My character, as a child, went through some serious augmentation and training starting at a very young age (kind of like a Spartan from Halo). By the end of adolescence, this guy was proficient enough at using a gun to rival even the greatest marksman with decades of experience, likewise for melee. However, in an environment like post-apocalyptic America, being a soldier wasn't good enough, so his training went beyond fighting. The end result was a man who could survive in any condition, hack any computer, fix any project gadget, bargain with the most stubborn people, regenerate the worst wounds, and fight anyone. Unfortunately, for unknown reasons, memory of all of this was wiped from him.
It's funny what a bullet in the head could do to you. He began recalling unfamiliar memories. "It must've just been the bullet!" However, the things he saw in these memories, he began to apply them to the present, as if they were second nature, as if those memories really happened. He may not remember everything about his training, like how his training was wiped from his mind, but that didn't matter right now. Now, he had the skills he needed to seek revenge on who shot him, and lend aid to whatever faction he likes the most.

I play as a lot of people. I just constantly change races like change to Will Smith and stuff. I'd like to be the I Am Legend guy and just use Greased Lightning. Although I do wish for a Walrus companion...

I play as former outlaw who plagued Vegas in his early days along with his gang. Upon returning to Vegas he (now old, bitter and suffering from a lung cancer along with alcoholism) realised two things - he's not a wanted man anymore and noone remembers him and his actions. More importantly the only person locals talking about is some courier who made a name for himself through helping people of Mojave and doing a lot of good deeds. He doesn't like the fact that he was outdone by a delivery boy/girl. So he's got a huge dilemma - Â should he let things go as they are and fade away or should he remind the Mojave Wasteland about fear only a seasoned outlaw can bring.

I am playing as Tempest, a girl with a very long family army history and she has always been taught to care for herself only and be straight forward. However when she reaches new Vegas she feels herself slipping up and showing a lot of feelings she has never shown ~ even love for a certain other lady

I tend to play as the tactical type. Taking things slow, use of sneak and thermal vision, asses every possibility to a situation, tactical outfits with modified weapons that preferably have laser pointers, flash-lights, short-range scopes. Same as the companions I travel with - all kitted out with tactical gear. Sometimes I do like to just chuck on some big armour, as well as my companions, and really intimidate my enemies and blow stuff up!

I'm playing as Dimitri Kranchev ex Spetsnaz veteran , he has a mission to defeat the NCR and establish the new Russian government, but for this to happen the Russian government must show their power and crush the NCR and any other factions that remain on your way ;as the Russian government agent Kranchev has a duty to eliminate local leaders that includes President Kimball.

I almost always end up being a do-gooder romantic, fantastical hero cowboy, so I've decided to try and be something else now that I have about 3 bounty-hunter/mercenary heroes done, they really started following the same pattern after a while.
Albert - The Flamboyant but occasionally Fraudulent Businessman Playthrough
Spoiler:
He's a rather morally neutral, businessman kind of character, that relies on diplomacy, rigging the odds and lots of companions to cover his back and give him an edge. He always tries to barter the most caps he can get out of things, but he's not completely immoral, he's just greedy. Deep down he is good willed, but hey, why not make a bunch of money on the side? A little white lie here or there doesn't hurt anyone either...
He aims for a separatist Vegas, and House seems like a very reasonable business associate. This character also dresses fancy and sometimes sells miracle elixirs and other cheap forms of making money. He prefers the easy way in things, and tends to be polite.
Albert makes most of his caps by trading, so he has a high Barter skill. He tends to travel with some form of trade caravan, such as using a pack Brahmin or possibly a truck. He sometimes also makes delivery jobs.
Gallus - The Tribal Champion Playthrough
Spoiler:
Gallus is a rogue Legionary. He doesn't agree with the enslaving, obedient ways of the Legion. He wants to form a strong, independent tribe of his own, much like the Great Khans, who he wishes to ally with in time. He believes that with fairness, strength and co-operation he will gather truly loyal allies. This character is melee-oriented, he doesn't want to carry weapons that weigh him down so he only uses small handguns.
He's fair, but in a fight he is ruthless, brutal even, and he's made a reputation for himself, because none of the Legionary assassin squads sent after him have returned.
A tribal playthrough is actually interesting, I recommend mods like Wasteland Defense, RTS and Movable Camp Stuff so you can set up camp and even build a home/stronghold for your tribe. I usually just tend to visit towns to trade.
It's also an interesting change of scenery compared to my other characters that tend to live in towns or on the Strip.
If you guys think these concepts are at all interesting I might post some screenshots and suggest recommended mods to accompany them when I get back to NV.

I am currently playing more or less the role of a Slaver/Mercenary type character in FO3, good pay and worth the fun. I might have a little too thought out but eh, what they heck. Having character never killed anyone.
Character Description:
She is around a foot shorter than most NPCs in the game (if I recall the NPCs are all around 6 foot tall, while mine stands at around 5'6, maybe 5'4), she has black hair with red highlights, and is very dark in terms of her personality (IE: tricks people into their own traps for a laugh and the proceeds to capture them or lures other species out into nowhere so she can hunt them). Her combat style is extremely stealthy, sneaks into a lot of places she shouldn't be in.
Backstory:
*note I use alt start for FO3, and the world takes place in the universe of Mass Effect for me, for the time being atleast* Way it all started was in the days of his youth, my characters' father was a "do it all mercenary". Slaving, Tracking, Bounties, you name it, he did it; galaxy wide too. After awhile of it though he had decided it was time to move on and start up a family of his own on one of the newer colonies, thus my character and her sister (currently tweaking with the sisters looks once more, still travels with me though) were born. At the age of 7 the mother passed away, taken from one of the many diseases on the planet. 11 years pass since the mothers death and the father is called out once more to go help his old pals, leaving Zoe and Liz to fend on their own.. but doesn't come back for some time, no messages, nothing. Having waited long enough Zoe (my character) sets off on a hunt to find him along with her 16 year old sister Liz. My character takes after her father, having been taught how to track down people and animals. However.. unlike her father and sister (takes after her mother with being extremely quiet but able to fend for herself) she has a heart made of fire and ash, she would rather let a bullet (or bullets) do all of the talking than her herself.
Alliances:
My character has been known to work with both Cerberus (Enclave, love the power of PC modding) and Eclipse Mercs. (Talon Company and Slavers). Several times over Cerberus has offered Zoe (my character, like Boe but with a Z) the chance to join but has denied. Only reason she is left to live by Cerberus is because of how much of an asset she could be if they ever get a hold of her. As for the Eclipse Mercs it is the group that he father was with, they see her as an ally and no threat to them.
Family:
Father - In his younger days the father of Liz and Zoe worked along side Eclipse Mercenaries. He was one of their higher ranking officers before he decided it was time to move to one of the newer colonies that was just being established. There he met his wife in which he married and had two kids (Liz and Zoe). His wife passed away 8 years after their marriage and not so long after that he was called to come back to join the Mercs again if he was up for it, and he was.
Sister - Liz is a bit taller than her sister for her age, not by much but it is visible. Liz was raised by her mother and was the silent child, she talked very little around the Colony and kept to herself. She was however raised to be able to fend for herself if need be however. With no word from her father she set out Zoe to see if they could track him down.

i play as a guy named John Shepard who use to be a high ranking officer in the NCR but left over differences with the Brass back in California and General Orliver also so he set out to the wasteland using his military reputation to set up his own private army that will one day take mr house out of the picture and they will take over New Vegas and use the securitrons to wipe out the legion and disarm the NCR troops and have them packing back to California but pretty much everyone in his private military are either former NCR troops brotherhood of steel and some Enclave Remnants who have no functional military in the DC and Mojave areas but there also small groups of disgraced legion officers who failed Caesar and saw Shepard military as the only way of being a soldier

Sevchenko was my favorite character from the Killzone series. I was a bit disappointed that Shadowfall took many years in the future where Sev could be dead or an old man.

I can't help it, I always play the incorruptible do-gooder. I always bring all possible live bounties in NVB2, I either side with the NCR or Yes-Man. I have never done Run Goodsprings Run or sided with Eddie. I talk Zimmer down in the Inheritance, and Ulysses down in Lonesome Road As to equipment, I typically go guns and use an assault rife, and wear either the Assassin Armor or the Crysis Nanosuit with the script from the old VGU
In Fallout 3, I have never poisoned Project Purity, or even sent Sarah Lyons into the purifier. I never blow up Megaton, and the only reason I don't let my guns do my preaching in Paradise Falls is if I shoot Grouse before reaching the gate.

I like to play as either the silent and mysterious gunslinger vigilante, or the brooding assassin.
At the moment, I've been playing the gunslinger a lot, that I mentioned above, haven't played as an assassin for a while. There's just some kind of appeal to unleashing your own brand of justice upon the criminals in the wasteland.
