So i think i've figured out my lag problem guys... I think it was the save file size... I forgot that when your save file gets big your game lags a lot more. Does anyone know a way to fix this? Or do i have to start a new game every time it starts to lag? I really don't wanna do that because i play a lot of Fallout and i like keeping all the stuff i earned... It just sucks having to start a new game after i put so much time into a save.

Defragging your hard drive always helps, whats your specs? You may be over your mod limit or your rig may be reaching its limit with your fallout.

Well you really don't need to create a new topic for it. Just post it in the same topic you posted your problem on. That way people can keep track on it. Nevertheless, congrats on figuring it out   . Though we would need more details as of what you did before it starts lagging, etc.

Yeah sorry... This still sucks though.. From what i've read every where people are saying that when your save file gets to a certain size you gotta start a new game. Not sure if that's true but no one has claimed that to be false.

Are you using a ENB? and also TTW is pretty intense on your cpu as well.

No ENB but i am using TTW. Are you suggesting i don't use TTW? Because i love that mod. But if it will help i guess i should get rid of it

NO NO NO not what i was saying but it seems that your reaching your limit in mods and maybe just maybe you might wanna do some sorting with what is vital to your game and what is a mod you can live without.

So maybe uninstall some mods? The only ones i know i could get rid of is companion mods but i only have like 3. So maybe that could help.

How manys mods do you have installed? Both FO3 and NV?

114 mods :p I kinda go crazy... Most of them are weapon mods though if that means anything.

Hmmm then a mod limit doesnt seem to be the problem... Your not using a enb so this makes it even weirder. Your cpu shouldnt be allowing you to perform badly. It sounds like a computer problem, like a setting is holding you back.

I couldn't be sure to be honest... But i really wanna figure it out.

Have you updated your graphics drivers and do you use LOOT?

I've never used LOOT and my drivers are up to date.

o_o you dont use LOOT? Im not gonna promise anything but chances are your lack of using LOOT is the cause of lag.

What does loot do exactly?

DUDE you know how to install TTW but dont know what LOOT is? I guess theres a first time for anything. Well LOOT basically cleans up your load order when you install mods and neatly organizes the esps and esms of those mods so that you get a nice a clean load order and maybe even better performance.

Installing TTW is kids stuff :p It does it for you

Regardless LOOT is not even essential, ITS A MUST HAVE. I've never met someone who hasn't used it.
