Better late than never Empty
PostSubject: Better late than never   Better late than never EmptyFri 23 Jan 2015, 14:34

Feeling like now is a good time to introduce myself, I just want to say hello.  My first game that I ever played was when I was around 3 or 4, when my dad took me to the high school since there was a preschool there, but it started later than the high school schedule.  A student in his class, Casey Swenson, showed me ski free.
During my younger years, I was just a lowly, console only peasant, thinking that video games needed a TV in order to be fun.  Slowly but surely, that changed.  My Uncle introduced me and my brother to Command and Conquer: Generals.  My first computer game.  Also, it showed me how much of a sociopath my brother was since he got around a hundred troops and told them to run through a flame wall *sweats*.  Anyway, Generals led me to Generals Zero Hour, which introduced me to mods and such.  But I was still mainly a console gamer.  That changed, however, when I got the game Batllefield 2142.  Since I needed an internet connection to play it, I waited till my family got wi-fi for our house. After playing a few matches, I was SOLD.  I only played my xbox when friends came over, but when no one was over, I would be playing 2142.  2142 lead to bad company 2, which lead to team fortress 2, then to battlefield 3, battlefield 4, SINS of a solar empire, etc.  Now I only turn on the xbox whenever my Dad's best friend comes over and he brings his son along too.  XBox is a GREAT babysitting tool.
Thank you for reading and thank you for letting me be a part of this community

It is really fun, hopefully you got sins rebellion, since it has all of the sins content. It starts out slow but it gets REALLY fun later on. Also, it is one of the only rts games that I know of that has a real time resource market per match (basic supply and demand). Im always tec TongueTril

great suggestion!! Sins is a great game, i really love it! I like RTS games alot, and this is prolly my second fav after Star Wars Empire At War... ive also been looking at the mods for Sins, and they look awesome! But usually i like to do everything possible in the vanilla game before i start playing mods to breathe more life into them.

But great game!
