Hey there, VGUNetwork! I'm Dienekes. I've been a big fan of the Elder Scrolls games since playing Morrowind as a kid (much better when my imagination took over), and branched out to Fallout games as well since then. As far as gaming goes, I enjoy any kind of game with a great story and a world that feels alive if your character did not exist. I absolutely love the lore and history of the Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect games. As such, I'm big into roleplaying in games and hopefully I'll find a place to share my screenshots documenting that around here.
Beyond that, I'm a history nerd and a big reader. If I'm found taking part in discussions outisde of gaming, that's probably what it'll be about. I've been a member of a few forum communities, but not many. I like smaller communities where I talk with the same people rather than have a lot of people coming and going, so a lot of those forums are a little on the dead side.
Anyway, I look forward to some great discussions with all of you. By the way, that is the most violent table of emoticons I've ever seen.

Hello good sir. Welcome to VGU. A lot of us here are huge role playing game fans from many different series.
I too love history especially WW1 to modern era.
If I may ask, how did you find VGU?

Thanks for the welcome, guys. Maybenexttime, I saw mentions of it around the internet when looking for mods, but discounted it because I wasn't really too interested in hopping into a new forum at the time. I looked into it further when Google turned up an Oblivion/Morrowind nostalgia thread, and decided to go for it. It's large enough that it has good activity, it has a long history, and people seem to be good quality from what I've seen.
HassellHoffman, I'll definitely be checking those out. According to an announcement I saw, I have to wait a week before I can post links, which I assume includes images. I have no problem waiting that time out, because it just means I'll have more screenshots to share.
