Playing TTW with as many mods as my pc can handle

Hey Tronak ^^ same here, recently installed TTW and am loving it. Have always much preferred the DC wasteland to New Vegas so its great to essentially use New vegas mods for Fallout 3.

I think Fallout 3 is superior to New Vegas as well, but before there was a New Vegas I remember hating trying to get from point "A" to point "B" in DC, except I must like New Vegas companions better cause I always seem to end up with all of them in my in my company but I think that may have something to do with my love of Jetacon72's Superhero suits and needing enough bodies to form my own Justice League:) I wonder if the TTW team is gearing up for Boston? They wont even have to change there letters:) A Tale Of Three Wastelands...TTW:)

Having some major FPS problems with current install, wondering if theres anything there that jumps out at anyone as the culprit? It's very aggravating as half the time everythings fine playing at full FPS (60) but then it will suddenly drop to 20 causing brutally unplayable lag, but always I have full FPS when any menu is open, such as pipboy esc menu etc. Gotta say this is especially frustrating as I am currently playing with least amount of mods in a long time (87)

Hey man whats up! Yea can someone tell me how it is i never installed it do you need both F3 and NV or what. Is it just the npcs and the map or is it the full blown quests from F3 included? I never installed it cause i think F3 is a gem of a game its my favorite Fallout and i never modded it or any of that lol. Is it worth downloading TTW?

It totally is worth trying, ttw is free but requires both FO3 and FNV plus all there coinciding DLC's, I have what I think is mid range pc with a fancy new video card and can run ttw really well, it's only my mod addiction that holds me back:( Some FO3 quests can be a little buggy but I have done complete playthroughs in the past and everything works:)

My mid range system was probably so when I bought it about 5 years ago:)

Sorry not sure I was clear enough there...with ttw it's like having both games completely installed and having the ability to travel back and forth between games with your one chosen character and companions and whatever you carry from wherever you found or recruited them. You can use pretty much any FNV mods and FO3 mods that have converted to FNV (complicated mod rules and restrictions apply lol). There are ttw house mods but I haven't tried any, used to use UWHO with great success but now just use the groovatron status house feature which works great:) Teleportation...greatest cheat ever:)

I guess it would be pretty nice to revisit the DC wasteland especially with the enbs enabled and such along with the other mods i have. My biggest thing is that i modded NV to the point where the lore is questionable but F3 i never even touched with a mod but maybe i can make an exception and make it Fallout 3 Revisited lol

Personally I stay away from enbs as I believe they are above my skillset or pc quality but I know there are plenty of ttw users out there that do use them with great success:) I think what I find most rewarding is that when I get a little bored in one land I can travel to the other and just continue with my same game:) Not sure I fully understand what lore even is but only know it seems to stand in the way off my having everything I want in the game, like horses:( I like playing with mods that add stuff from different zonras, like Jetacon72 Superhero Costumes or star wars/Trek stuff:)

ARGGH! found the answer to my own question and it was "XRE beta1_35 showcase - Flyable Vertibird" which is a terrible blow as I had great plans for the DC wastelands once Mattell has released his TTW version:) got to find a way to get it to play nice, could it be "XRE - CARS v0_86" that it dosnt like?

Seems "XRE - CARS v0_86" is not the Villain here as with that mod uninstalled and "XRE beta1_35 showcase - Flyable Vertibird" installed the FPS annihilation is still present:(

Yes xre mods prefer as few additional mods as possible, but staying away from script heavy mods helps a lot, personally had pretty good success in my own tests with ttw, and have it ready to publish, I'll take a closer look at your load order and see if I see any proble children lol

Cool ty:) Thought it must be a script thing as it it always starts out great and then eventually hits me with the fps drop. Thought it may have been associated with hardcore mode as I would get a temporary reprieve after sleeping or eating, drinking etc., but I tried playing recommended mode for awhile and it made no difference:((recommended mode...bleh how could Bethesda recommend that?? its horrible, lol). Tried dropping NevadaSkies as well but it didnt fix it either:(
