Maybe someone can help me...
I decided to try a new ENB to see if I would like a new mood in my game. This was a terrible mistake. After going through a lot to try to fix this, I am left with horrible depth of field. The screen is blurry all over and appears to have tiny black dots all over it like it was dirty. My player appears smudged as does most everything else. Very little comes into focus and when it does, it's not even in the center of my screen.
I can remove the effect by disabling depth of field when in-game, but then the game looks not as good as it could.
Note this is not a faux cell shading effect. Also note the problem does not show up when I filmed my game with Fraps. So maybe a post processing problem?
Anyone clever in this area?

It is REALLY crucial to see if you deleted every single associated files of the said ENB. IF you don't you will get some weird looking screens and CTDs. Did you manage to find every single file and delete them?
Also may I ask which ENB are you trying to use? I had trouble with some.
Also I suggest E ENB.

A screenshot would help identify the problem, right now it could be a lens, dof or sweetFX problem. you can use the insert key to take a screenshot with all post-processing visible, sometimes its different from preset to preset but its usually insert.
as maybenexttime said can you tell me what preset it is? so i can take a look at it for you.

Wow that's an extremely grainy dof, try these.
replace the enbeffectprepass.fx with one from a different enb, I'm using the one from onix enb and i like it quite a lot.
If that doesn't work open up the enbseries.ini file and make sure that EnableLens is set to false.
If that still doesn't fix it tell me what enb you are using and I'll take a look at the files, its possible that its using some type of post-process film grain.

Thanks hitman. I was able to remove that effect and get ENB working again. After I posted that pic I simply deleted everything associated with ENB mods and started over. My colors aren't as vivid as they were in previous screens, but it's much, much better.
