Whenever you are playing Fallout, what is the typical backstory you guys use for your character? What sort of weapons/attitude does your character have? I am interested to see how creative you guys are!

Isaac Hawkins

My character is part of a unit that is focused on rebuilding America one step at a time. The outfit he works for usually specializes in humanitarian relief and they also focus on Pre-War relic acquisition to study Pre-War items to see how to replicate them. The unit (Shadow Company) is based near the metropolis of Atlanta. Isaac was dispatched to the Mojave territory to re-establish communication with a SC unit there. When he finds out that the SC unit was wiped out, he ends up resolving issues in the Mojave himself along with his companions.

Isaac is cool-mannered and waits his turn before speaking. He is an avid gun nut and could disassemble a gun in his sleep if he had to. Along with guns, Hawkins is very skilled with survival tactics as he has found tech and books in military installations on how to get the upper hand in a fight and how to survive harsh climates. Isaac prefers to use long range weapons so the enemy has no idea he is nearby. A ghost is what Isaac would be compared to. Duking heavy firepower with his M14 and 1911, there is not much he can't do.

I liked playing through Vegas and being mean ( I always go a nice guy type char)

Since I replace male voices with Naked Snake's voices(Japanese ver.), and Jill Valentine' s for female, Well... now you now the backgrounds.

Still, I have some original characters. One of them is named " Mikatsuki," in Japanese it's Crescent moon. Since the shape of crescent moon is like a blade, this character has high perception and agility, and skilled with guns, sneak and lockpick, and perks related to the skills above. Background? Not just a courier, also she's a well trained contract assassin. Let's just say courier job is just a part-time.

Just one? Oh dear. I have so many false starts for both Fallout games it would take few pages of A4 just to write their names and sentence of background.

However, i have two main projects that I have been working on for the last several years. One is a roleplay from Fallout 1, right on through to Fallout New Vegas, with a bloodline/legacy right the way through. The second is a Star Wars theme roleplay, where one Jedi (originating in Morrowind) character would be the hero, or train other heroes, of any game with SW mods - Fallout 3 and New Vegas fall under this umbrella.

-Legacy Playthrough-

FO3: Joseph and Catherine. Joseph, the boy raised in the Vault, something of a Rebel and the Lone Wanderer. Catherine is his half-sister, a loyal mothers girl, conceived in a grief-fueled one-night stand by Doctor Li and James before he left for the Vault. I use appearances based on presets, so I just occasionally 'swap' which character I am playing, when I want to progress one or the others story. Joseph is a rebel without a cause, who will end up finding his cause with Sarah Lyons and the Brotherhood, and Catherine will actually, having seen the worst of the wasteland, end up being something of an Enclave supported. This will put the siblings at odds.

New Vegas: Rose, the second. Child of the Bishop child. Named for her grandmother, who was the first Rose. Following her grandmothers footsteps, she joined the Rangers as a young girl, and performed her duties admirably... until she was captured by Lanius. Enslaved as his 'wife' for nearly a year, bearing him a child she never got to hold or see, her grandmother eventually tracked her down and rescued her at the lost of several Veteran Rangers she was leading. Broken and lost, Rose retired from the Rangers early, and became a Courier, trying to run away from her experiences by keepin' on walking. It seemed to work, until the job with the platinum chip. Saved by Victor and Doc Mitchel, her memories are fragmented and return in flashes. In the long run she will start to find her way back towards the Rangers, taking up the patrol armor once more, before reforming the Desert Rangers and siding with House, for the NCRs own good, rather than out of greed or any desire for power.


-Jedi of Fallout-

My Jedi character will do much of the MQ of Fallout 3, but eventually I will start the TSC mod, and the teleporter incident will drop her back into Tamriel. From this point on, in both Fallout 3 and New Vegas, I will play as Amata... taken on as her Jedi Apprentice. Butch will sabotage the vault, and she will be left stood outside, aimless and lost. My Jedi will offer her a chance to learn things that could change her world. And it will, with Amata eventually ending up the Jedi Commander of the TSC. Less creative and interesting than my main playthrough, but more fun to play in its own way. If only because if lightsabers.


I also have a Metroid themed playthrough in the planning stages, but i'm not starting that until I have everything perfect to do so.


Very few of my playthroughs involve many mods. The legacy playthrough involves some game tweaks, but is based on the base games being played faithfully. The Jedi playthrough has more such as Lightsabers, force powers, a TARDIS to explain how they got there and the Doctor having a cameo along with it, and the TSC mod.

I like playing as a cowboy  with all them cowboy outfits and revolvers,lever action weapons.

Well i once told the story of my character Dace how he became the Ghost of the Wasteland and stuff but i dint told the back story of him so i will tell it now.

As a child Dace's family was poor they could not afford food and water and Dace was forced to beg for caps.One day Dace's mother was very sick and she died,Dace's father dissapeard in the Wasteland without a trace and Dace was alone in the harsh Wasteland.With no hope Dace was found in a sewer by a former NCR Range known as Zac.Zac took the boy and trained him everything he knows and after 20 years Dace became a grown up man.One day till he was scavenging he saw a young woman running from someone Dace went to aid the woman and appeared that she was chased by 3 raiders Dace killed em and saved the woman.Later the same day they lighted a camp fire near Freeside,Dace asked the woman whats her name and she said ''My name is Ela''.She said she grew up in a place called Zyon and that her family were tribal's and in the morning Dace went to look for supplies.When he come back he saw Ela's head chopped off butchered like a animal and was fucked.He drank all night and day blaming himself for not being there to save here and a wastelander saw him.His name was Josh.Josh said that he needs to stand up and he also said that its not his fault that was here fate.From that time on Dace and Josh became friends and survived in the Wasteland for a long time then they have been recruited in the NCR and then the Battle of Hoover Dam happend.
My character uses sniper's and melee weapons.

MONSTER!!!!

Harkshot was just a courier/mercenary doing what he was told. He has no family he could relate to, after he got shot he changed. He was willing to hunt down Benny and do what he was told in the first place. Return the chip.

Bio: Born and raised in New California, Coffin always dreamed of being a soldier like his father before him. At the age of 18 he enlisted, after Boot Camp and three tours in Arizona, Coffin's CO recommended him for Ranger training. Being a Ranger felt like home for Coffin so he stuck with it and became a Ranger at the age of 23. Coffin was now being deployed to his first tour in the Mojave. His mission is to disrupt the Legion's campaign in any way possible. Naturally he'll see the mission through or he'll die trying.

My courier is an ex enclave NCR mercenary who got screwed over by benny in the process. However he was subject to enclave testing and has a healing factor, Excellent marksmanship skills, enhanced speed access to 90% of his brain. Martial arts mastery and many other things. He's also a raging sex machine and is the current owner of the new vegas branch of lolipopz magazines.

Ru grew in the vault 101, with one difference from the rest of the kids, Dad teach him to the art of kill with a gun in his hands, and Ru learn alone to hack computers and steal the tresures which were waiting for him in the safes.
