Happy New Year!

Thank you to DVAted for the chance to serve as a judge on this contest. I want all contestants to know that I did not take my job lightly here and I spent a long time looking over every shot over and over. As a judge, I looked for theme, overall aesthetic value, and story-telling ability. There were only three winners, but so many more shots that were contenders.

Ormr set the standard for entries from his very first post and no one was able to top him. It was an impressive move and an impressive shot. I loved all three from him.

AdvancedTerror's Batman pic looked cool, but only stood out to me after I considered all three of the criteria I mentioned above. Any picture would be hard-pressed to capture the ICE theme better.

Juzkin's Metro2033 picture made me glad it was not a picture from Fallout. Otherwise, I may have not faired so well in that contest :p Truly, this was a great picture. Even though the caption is a slight eyesore to those of us spoiled by "~ tm", the image overall is striking.

Holy Moly That was great Metro screen shot, by far my favorite! Congratulations to all that participated and the three winners! Funny words coming from dragbody too, hilarious to read. ^-^
