| So, the best pack of guns in the Fallout series, which was a Fallout 3 mod. Not sure if those people are still working on it, but I've considered taking it on, but how do I get the ironsights to work since these were originally from FO3. Also, I want to make a building or bunker, not sure yet. I never did have luck making brand new interior cells or even fully editing existing ones in GECK.
I'm not asking for someone to take this on for me, I'm doing it myself, but my skills were only OK before and now, I'm relearning GECK. Hope you guys can advise me a bit to get me back on the right path.
Post scriptum: The more I play around with Geck, the more the knowledge I had comes back, it's just taking it's time in doing so and making me feel dumb.

| if you look at a vanilla fallout weapon there will be a node called sighting node that is where your first person ironsight view will be honestly though the easiest way to set up a weapon that has missing nodes is to open a pre existing weapon that uses similar animations and copy/paste the custom weapon over the vanilla. hope that made sense |

whoops forgot to clarify yes you do use nifskope for any tweaks with weapon nodes Hope it's compatible with Windows 10 (Technical preview, but still more or less Windows 10). Hope it's like GECK, where nifscope just seems to come back to me. If so, I might get 3DS Max back and redevelop my weapon model skills to give Pizzamonster a hand with the models I gave him. _________________ |

| Don't remember how to load two guns in at the same time and to delete one and reposition the nodes to the new gun. I only have vague memories of doing it, but not on how to do the aforementioned anymore.. <EDIT> Whoops, made a second post rather than replying.. Sorry. _________________ |

<EDIT> Whoops, made a second post rather than replying.. Sorry. ok what you do is open a vanilla gun that shares the same type of animation you want for your gun il use the service rifle and a m4 as an example, first open both weapon nifs next right click on the stock/base of the m4 then click copy branch next paste the branch in the service rifle nif rename the m4 to the same name as the service rifle should be something like ServiceRifle:0,you can rename things by right clicking and hitting transform, once you have done that reposition it as needed, the rest is pretty much the same thing just copy parts of the m4 and replace the parts of the service rifle till all the service rifle is replaced and your left with your custom gun and correct nodes. |

Pictures, please. I don't understand what you're talking about. Plus I'm doing a semi-auto pistol. <EDIT> Wait, I think I understand now, let me try again. _________________ |

| - here is a porting tutorial for nv:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npPI72o9Tm0&list=PL925958D31D8D30C7&index=7
this tutorial mainly explains porting from a 3d program to fallout but it also covers setting up the weapon nifs |

| Thanks for the info tigerx87, I found it easily and can say it's the best FNV weapon mod (collection). Strange that I haven't heard about it before. |

| Yeah, apparently I didn't understand as my attempt with the Beretta Px4 Storm didn't work at all.. Can you link a tutorial with detailed description and pictures? I only ask because I am hard of hearing and unless it's music playing loud, I do have issues with hearing voices on videos. Thanks. _________________ |

| I had played this mod some time ago and i must say it´s a pain in the ass. It make the whole game harder, but not in the good way. It´s very hard to find the rigth ammo for your gun, because of this you just switch yout gun every 5 minutes. It was normal to run with 6 diferent guns and had only 10-20 bullets for everry gun. And the most of the guns look like they were manufactured yesterday, or had some realy bad cliping. This mod add a lot of guns, but you can´t use them normally, if you want you must use consolecomand or GECK to get enough ammo. |

| It adds a whole lotta weapons so I'm not surprised it's hard to find a surplus amount of ammos for all of the guns you want . |

| Yep it´s true a lot guns but, it would be the best if they have only use the F3 ammo. Yes it would be not correct, but hey this is a game. And better to have this "incorrection" and a nice game, than to have this pain of ass.

| Well you could message the author and ask him to make an optional version that use the vanilla's ammos. |
