Hey everyone I could use some help here with a problem that's realllllllly starting to get on my nerves. Every once in awhile in-game all my controls will lock up for seemingly no reason. The "enableplayerontrols" command has no effect either. Everything locks up so I cant do anything except move and the only way to get out of the game is by using the console. I've never had this issue before and have no idea whats causing it. The only thing I have seen that actually sets it off is sometimes when I try to reload the animation will stop halfway through and then all my controls will be locked.

The only thing I can think of would be that another mod has modified your controls somewhat. One mod in particular that I can think of is "Sharing and Caring Companions", which maps a certain button to some function I can't remember at the start. Try going back a few saves until you notice that the problem isn't there. Then, you can find out what you did between that point and the next save that might have messed with things.

Of course, you might also just have added a mod that conflicted with something, causing the aforementioned control issues. Does the problem persist with all mods disabled?

The problem still happens even with all mods disabled. i went back to an earlier save an have not had the problem so far, hopefully it was just a rare bug and won't happen again.

I found this which seems to be a similar problem like yours, it's about doubling the cache in fallout. ini, maybe it will workout for you, the guy got it working on the second page.
