| Subject: New Vegas Tick + ENB Compatibility (Constant crashing) Mon May 09, 2022 10:10 am | |
| Using Tick has been a godsend when it hasn't shown its hiccups compared to stutter removal, but; it seems to be too inconsistent with the constant crashing and freezing when compared to stutter removal. I never want to use stutter removal again. Nevertheless, I also know tick is notorious for its incompatibilities with ENB's, but I am hoping someone might offer some solutions on how to make the game run smoothly (fine already) without it crashing or freezing with both. Because I am at a loss.
Regards,
EDIT (THE FIX - For Now): The tick ini files contains the following lines:

The framerate is still as crisp (my eyes are bugged so who knows), though New Vegas has initial slow-downs (not stutter nor lag - just taking its time to load which the critical section sped up I believe) in some areas. Luckily, at least for me, these slow-downs indicate the game is functioning properly and (I guess) not overworking itself perhaps. Some users may be fine with leaving these settings alone, for me, this was trick (at least for now). Unfortunately, I really do believe it depends on the computer's hardware. _________________ Through the roads we walk, it is the lessons that make us Never Be Afraid
