Hello! I'm Bisonfan I like playing as M. Bison in Street Fighter (and I plan on bringing him to FO4 sometime in the future). I'm new to modding and, even though I have read the rules, some doubts are still plaguing me. They are the "this is implicit we all know it" kind of thing (maybe) so I hope you can help me out with some modding fellowship considerations:

1. Is it allowed to "expand" on someone elses mod? I know very well that you ABSOLUTELY can't use assets without permission, I ment more like: Someone made an armor mod and I make an esp with perks stats quests and stuff for that armor, don't include the assets in my mod and then reference the original armor mod as a requirement.

2. Is it allowed to post said mod (only an esp) on other sites and specify the reference to this site's original mod release?

3. If a mod creator disappears from the site and is not responding to any contact attempts is there a standard time limit in which you can use the assets on your own mods (with the proper credits and links to the original mod and with the condition that if said modder reappears and requests said mod to be taken down you comply)?

4. Is the site only about PC releases or are Xbox discussions fine as well?

5. How do I activate notifications on a thread? I have commented on some but I don't seem to be able to recieve responses notifications on my email or inbox here.

Those are my doubts I hope that you can help me with my questions so I can avoid making terrible mistakes and be able to get to know more this community and add value in the best way possible.

1.: Generally its okay to make patches for other peoples mods. When i make patches or build upon mods, i still ask for permission to do so, if the mod author is still active, even though im not including any assets.

2.: I don't see a problem with that, there have been patches for dragbodys FO4 Power Armors on nexus and neither GUN or Nexus had a problem with that.

3.: There is no time limit and in my opinion its your problem, when the original author is not responding. Allnarta recently had to contact nivea for her new Roberts male body replacer and it was a pain in the ass for her finding a platform where nivea was still active.

4.: Even though we most of the time speak about PC releases here, i see no problem why xBox discussions shouldnt be allowed here.

5.: i can really help you with this, as ive never used that function, sorry
