Hello there, nice place you guys got here.
Joined the forum a few months back but haven't properly introduced myself and had to take a hiatus from gaming. So... Hi!
I do have a question though after reviewing the mod release rules, and didn't know where else to post it so thought this would be the most appropriate place. I noticed that the rules stated to NOT share ANY mods from ANYWHERE without the modders permission, and I while I 100% understand that I was wondering how far that rule goes.
I made a janky but working edit of Duke Patrick's Combat mod for Skyrim in order for it to work in Skyrim Special Edition. I reached out to Duke Patrick a few times but never got a response from him since his disappearance. Now, I understand that I can't share the mod itself within my understanding of the rules, but would it be viable to make a quick guide telling users how they can get it working themselves?
I tried that on the Nexus but the thread was removed and I was promptly finger wagged away. I wouldn't be trying to take credit for it at all; in fact the edits in question involves removing lines of code, not adding. I really love the work and passion Duke Patrick put into his mod for more than eight years, and only hope for others to be able to enjoy it as well.
Anyways, thanks for reading and double thanks to the modding community for all the work you guys do.
