| I've combined Dragbody NPC overhauls with the New Vegas Redesigned 3 to the best of my ability. It basically works although some NPCs such as Sunny Smiles have weird faces... I tried everything I could, reinstalls, load order sorting, mod fixes, still no luck. That said, I read that if I were to disable the NPC that looks weird, I could let the NVR3 NPC takes full control. How do I do this using FNVEdit?
Look at this: https://imgur.com/UBJlx3n I know there are a lot of conflicts with the NPCs here, but it's only Sunny Smiles and one other that has visible problems. Do I have to edit something here?
Thanks in advance! |

| First things first, what is it that you're trying to accomplish? Do you want Drag's outfits with NVR faces? |

Isn't Drag the entire NPC model? Outfit and face together? Well, basically I would like to continue using Drags for the 95% of the NPCs that are still fine but essentially remove/hide the Drags NPCs such as Sunny so the NVR3 version of her shows up in my game instead... if that makes sense? |

Yes, and no. Drag gives named NPCs a unique outfit that's tied to their race, but he also replaces the vanilla outfits with his own custom ones. If you delete the face the unqiue outfit goes, but you still get the vanilla outfit "Dragbodyfied". So for example, Jackson in the Mojave outpost would no longer have his unique appearance, but his hat and outfit still use drag's models (the generic ones though). I've done a guide on how to do this. While the faces are really detailed, the problem is I'm not into celebrity cameos or using characters from other franchises, plus some of the NPCs look too different from what I expect them to look, and none have proper facial animations, so they fall into the uncanny valley for me. It sounded like that's what you wanted that's why I was asking. - Quote :

So, you like the faces, you simply don't like all of them. You would like to remove one or two NPCS. Is that it? Because that's easy to do. It's basically the same principle about getting rid of all of them, just less. You seem to know the basics of FNVEdit, so I'll skip the introduction. Basically, what you have to do is remove the entry. Like, in the image you linked there, right click on Sunny's entry, and select remove (or delete or whatever; the point is it needs to go). After that, check the other categories (hair, race...) and also remove all entries that refer to Sunny (or whoever you want) in the same way. And that's about it. |

| Hey, thanks so much! This worked perfectly. I didn't realise it would be this simple... Oh well, at least I got it done. Thanks again! |
