| Title says all. I’ve played the game single player and didn’t enjoy the gameplay much. Or the story. Is it better with friends? |

| No its not better with friends. Imo Friends is one of the worst sitcoms ever created, I recommend other classic sitcoms like Seinfeld or Frasier. |

| Thank you for your input, you’ll be glad to know I’m not a fan of Friends but I do enjoy Seinfeld and Fraiser. Maybe I’ll rewatch them when I next play Fallout 76 |

Most things are. I mean I bet a trip to the DMV could be fun if you were with an amusing friend and heading out for drinks after, lol. That said, I think in this case friends do 'make' the game, and a lot of my good times have just been running various events and playing Nuclear Winter with a group of people I met on Discord. |

| Solo can be fun, But with friends clearing dungeons is a total blast. Take my word for it. |

| I'll admit to finding Queen fights nothing more than a chore at this point though. |

That's the fun part of the game IMO, once I was stuck with sheepsquatch and 4 low level players, I was the only high level and they were begging for help. I didn't have my gatling gun, so we were pinned down in a house, I asked them to stay and fast travel to my camp and got my gatling and fast traveled back and killed it. definitely one of the funniest and most thrilling moments of FO76. |

| Na definitely not. The game has no Endegame, the only thing that is left after the main and side quest is mindles grind. And this grind has a daily limit. Caps, cripts and gold bars are affected by it. For the best Power Armor you will have to grind for over a month. Unless you enjoy trolling or griefing other players thre is realy not much to do or have fun to. As for me i enjoy nuke camps and events. I been using nukes this entire week on fastnacht. However i normaly play the game les then 4 hours a week. And Nuklear Winter is full of scriptkiddies on PC. |

| I will admit despite actually liking 76, Nuclear Winter honestly makes me want to ragequit due to the random nature of it and the cheating both, so I just don't play it. If you are going to make your PvP mode a path to both lore and cosmetic unlocks, please don't make it possible for for half the players to spawn next to a wooden armor set with a broken stick as a weapon while some lucky team gets several sets of urban combat armor and the BFG 9000. |

| I haven't played much of Fallout 76 but I do remember close to when it initially came out I played with a good friend of mine and her and I had a blast. We mostly just ran around doing stupid stuff, but when we did play the game together the way it was meant to be played we both found it quite fun and enjoyable. Need to see if she feels like reinstalling it so we can try playing it together again. _________________ |

| It really depends what you want. The original story is actually really good but it's told in a terrible way; holotapes, notes, and some robot characters. There aren't many actual sidequests, though what there are (especially the Order of Mysteries questline) is good, most being public events where you do tasks to a time limit with other players. Wastelanders, part of the base game, is basically an expansion pack that has restored (NPC) life to the world, and has it's own new main questline that is 'decent' but clearly more a foundation for the future rather than anything groundbreaking.
Gameplay, if you enjoyed Fallout 4 it's more of the same, with a few updated animations and features, and more weapons and PA options. Mutations are my personal favorite; Marsupial allows you to leap three-four times the base jump height (you can reach the roof of a one-story building from the floor) and when combined with Speed Demon (x2 speed in movement and reloading) you feel like the type of being The Master was aiming for all along as you parkour across roofs and obstacles.
The world is a mixed bag for me. The world is utterly massive and broken up into four distinct and interesting regions, starting with the Forest, an actual woodland that is pleasant to actually explore. Locations are many and again varied, most have some small story to them, from murder shacks to an entire automated city. Which leads me into the bad for me; said automated city feels tiny and even looks it from a distance. It could have been three times the size and been something truly special. In my opinion everything feels a little on the small side and almost themepark-like.
There is also no real endgame, so be warned. It's an endless loop of certain events that give the best time-difficulty-reward ratio and grinding the same three-four daily quests for end game currency for endgame gear that is little better than stuff you can get much easier. For most people the 'endgame' is just pottering around with friend, cosmetics, trading, and lootin' shootin'.
There is also Nuclear Winter, but battle royals aren't my thing, so no comment.
Honestly, you can pick the game up cheap enough from key-sellers or on sale you don't really have much to lose. I've been playing over a year on and off. |

| I honestly really love 76 with friends; I've almost played with them exclusively since launch to the point where now I try to plan only solo. It's a really great thing to have a few different people that are active, get the game, but still allow freedom to do your own thing if you just wan someone. Some of the RP servers that have popped up are tremendous; they are a blast! |

| Not joking, but it plays fine without friends. I can't play with other people (hearing loss, so can't hear group-chat clear enough, and bethesda refuses to implement text chat.... despite every other MMO having that feature), and the game is fine that way.
Outside of a few very "dungeons" everything is very easily solo-able. I mainly played a melee character, and despite poor perk/armor choices I could faceroll everything outside of 2-3 end-game enemies. |
