It's sad that the old VGU had to go, I liked the place and it helped me alot when I made my first baby steps in modding. Althought I wasn't really active there much anymore and lurked around more than posted, I still enjoyed being there. Anyway at least we still have a place for one of the best communities

For what it's worth, I was the same way before. I hardly knew anyone. Now that things are new again it's easy to jump right in and move forward with everyone else.

Hello! I'm back after a 2 year long break :O

It'd be kind of funny in a way if we hadn't have lost all that information almost overnight.

I mean this because with the quick response of the admins in getting this site set up it almost seems like a case of The King is dead, long live the King.'

Its a shame we lost the vgu, but it was starting to get bloated with people just coming for mods. Cutting some of the fat may not necessarily be a bad thing.

This could be a good setup for now, using mediafire and the like as the main means of content distribution, at least until we figure out what the best course of action is regarding the future if the site.

Just my 2 cents anyway,may sound a bit mean, but its the kind of course of action that may have to be taken.

I personally am very glad to see the vgu up again with so many of its key members still around.

Hello, I here now and then in the time between projects. Shame about the site going down, However it has been nice to see the amount of people who are committed and have returned. Been looking around the screenshot forums mostly always enjoyed the visual side of things more.

Hi all, I'm Towerwatch! I made many a post on VGU network and waited many a week to hear back from the admins about approval for advanced membership. Much to my dismay, the site went down a couple weeks later, and all the splendor of the community was lost. On a whim, I searched it up again, and here I am. I hope this time things go better, I loved the community last go around.
