Hey VGU, so my companions are really buggy at the moment. First off their distance from me is very far and they only follow when I am about 500 ft away from them. I can't find the issue but the JIP Command companion mod keeps telling me that I have too many companions. I really want to know how to reset my companion count other than going to the Gun Runenrs. I think that there are some misc companions that are messing with my companion distance. If anyone could help that would be great as I really want to play Lonesome Road but I can't now because EDE is too far away to access and terminals for me.

Maybe the companions are set to keep their distance? also the mod companions maybe have a high value of how close they follow you, but im not sure, and i think that JIP has an MCM option to enable unlimited companions

Thats not the problem the problem is that their is some sort of range that is messing with my distance.

Yes, It isn't just vanilla companions but every single companion. So I assume their is just some value that I can tweak or change but I can't for the life of me figure out what it is.

also, have you tried disabling the jips mod? also this started just recently? since you installed a new mod? or just at random?
