This game is possible to play stable but as we all know, it's a total nightmare but worth it when we can get to that point. Does anyone here play it in VR with all their mods? I'm just curious because it's never brought up.

Yep, and fallout 4 and Skyrim too.
Bethesda reached VR versions of each game, which were half-assed and broken as we have come to expect,
and modders came to the rescue. and from what i hear most mods for the non VR version work too.

i have a VR headset but not taken the plunge with any of these yet.my GPU struggles with some of the higher end VR games, and if i was doing one of these in VR i would want to go all out on visuals
