Just found out oabout this community through my interest in Fallout: New Vegas mods and I'm happy to get acquainted with the forum. I have always been a big fan of Fallout 1 & 2 and unfortunately didn't play fallout 3,4, new vehas, or 76, though I have followed a ton of the lore. I finally got around to building a decent PC and I have been in love with New Vegas ever since. Have about 42 hours in it and loving it all! (Except Deam Money omg that sucked).

Anyways, hope I can take part in some dope modding conversations here. cheers!

I'm still doing my playthrough for now but I'd like to institute my own gambling mod. I hate that you get banned from casinos permanently, and I'd love to be able to raise the max bets as well as winnings. But maybe to save the ingame economy a little, maybe you get banned for a short time like a cool down or something.

That's a great idea! I'm not sure If anything like that exists at the moment. I'm cheering you on! I recommend you take a look at how the G.E.C.K. works.

I would recommend both the "Casino Unbanner" and "Better Casinos" mods - they're both pretty good baselines for increasing the casino functionality. The only thing is that with the "Better Casinos" mod, it might take a while to buy all the chips you want, especially if you want to take advantage of the higher bets. Maybe that's something you could work on modding in, though

I have one called Gambler's Paradise installed but not activated right now. I'm still tying up a few loose ends on some DLC and side quests, after I complete them, I'm definitely enabling it

I am excited to complete the game before I start mods myself, but the time just seems to be flying. Great game.

Thanks for the encouragement, I'm going to dive into G.E.C.K. in the coming weeks here as I wrap up my first playthrough
