| PLEASE don't ask me if I have NVAC installed. I do and the game still crashes. What i dont understand, is that mods I had no issues with in the past, are now causing my game to crash. The Strip and Freeside Open, causes my game to crash. The Vipers and Jackals reassurance mods, cause my game to crash. NCM and Ojo-0Bueno Texture Packs, cause my game to crash. Like for real? Why am I even playing this game on PC then? I might as well go back to my XB1 because it seems the only way to play this game is to go vanilla(fuck that btw). Sorry, if I'm coming off as a dick, I'm just frustrated from college, my workouts, and meical bullshit with the VA, so the LAST thing I want to put up with is having to troubleshoot and test what used to work in the past, and not be able to play the damn game on what little time I have off.
Now that Iv'e vented (God I feel better) I should point out again that all of these mods were working just fine before thanks to the help I had here. Then I decided to scrap it all to play Fallout: New California, disappointing mod btw. So, I uninstalled everything again and downloaded Tale of Two Wastelands... then uninstalled everything again. Want to know why? You can ask Roy Batty (fuck him btw) and you'll come to the realization that playing tale of two wastelands is the same as playing vanilla FNV and FO3...... BORRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!!!!!! So, ever since I reinstalled Fallout New Vegas and downloaded these mods, the performance of the game has been dogshit. So, is there some way to resolve this? is Mod Manager 2 now inefficient? Should I reinstall everything again? Like, I dont get it. It went from being so smooth, to being a CHORE to play.
Sorry if my language is off-putting don't take it personal, Im just very direct about how I feel is all. Thanks for reading. |

| Right. Well there's no real way to diagnose what the issue is unless you post your whole load order. Any number of mods could be conflicting with one another or throwing up errors like nobody's business.
At the end of the day, modding games is unstable, you're tweaking the game to respond to things it was never built to respond to, a bit of patience is required and troubleshooting is just part of the hobby I'm afraid. As far as I know, The Strip and Freeside Open are hell for compatibility and I believe cause issues with save file bloat? Although I could be wrong on that. |

| As @TastyHands said, your LO is essential if you want help. Just post it in a spoiler and maybe we’ll be able to help you out. Also, do you use NVSR? It can cause crashes like there’s no tomorrow. If you do, try disabling the critical sections in the .ini or switching to NV Tick Fix and see if the crashes continue. If they persist, just post your LO and we’ll help you sort these crashes out. (And don’t talk bad on Roy man, modding FNV wouldn’t be nearly as awesome without him.) |

| @Vicks raised a good point about NVSR. I know it had issues with Windows 10 at one point so I switched primarily over to New Vegas Tick Fix which worked flawlessly for me. I know installation of it has some issues though so I would recommend DarkPopulous's video on how to fix that. It's just a file path issue so it's nothing too complicated. And yeah, gotta agree about Roy. He might come across as a bit callous at times(Hard not to be when you put up with half the crap he gets from people when modding ) But he knows his stuff, and his 4gb patch for example built a foundation for a lot of mods that wouldn't exist otherwise. |

| It depends how much you have modded your game and which mods you have, since New Vegas has a limit. By using both NCM and Ojo-0Bueno is pretty heavy combination by itself too.
It all comes down to how good computer you have, load order and which mods you are using.
Funny story, I had so heavily modded game on my old computer that just by adding high quality scrap metal plus some other clutter textures caused my game to have "Out of memory" and get missing meshes more frequently. _________________ Walking down an unknown road |

| Fucking LOL!!! I was so pissed and on a rant that I forgot to post my load order. Well here they are, I uninstalled the strip and freeside open, and I checked for NVSR I dont have it. - Spoiler:

| Woah, yeah your LO is definitely the problem. You have some ESMs below ESPs, which is most likely the cause of your crashes.
Download L.O.O.T. from here: https://loot.github.io/
Run the installer, add it to your list of programs in MO2, and run it.
It will sort your load order and hopefully stop your crashes. |

| Unpopular advice here
follow what Vicks said and I recommend you ditch a couple of mods if not rebuild it from bottoms up, what mods you ditch its up yours trully, the game is held by a single hair sometimes and often it has mold FNV is not like Skyrim so you need to pick your mods carefully and stick with em [yes skyrim is also buggy but it can still survive +300 mods on it dang it] Think about the mods you mount check their dates like if they predate 2016 you got another thing coming to ya , see for fan patches and dont grab every top mod you see ( ̄▽ ̄*) trust me I learned that lesson years ago how the game even launched back then was a miracle hahaha... So best of luck fellow wasteland jockey way the gamebryo engine gods smile upon thee

| @Vicks thanks for the advice. I ran loot, but it doesn't seem like much has changed in my load order. - Spoiler:
UPDATE: It didnt change. Every time I run the program it says "no changes were made" |

| It looks like it did quite a bit. Next step is to run the game and see if you are still experiencing crashes. If the crashes persist, I’d follow @JackLovecraft’s advice above and just build your mod list from the ground up. It seems like you could do with following a guide. You could try this one: https://vivanewvegas.github.io/ This is the one my buddy uses and he said he’s having a blast playing so I’d say give it a try. They have a discord server you can join if you need help with anything. Hope everything worked out man! Best of luck! |

| Hmm, I didn't even know about that guide myself and I've been modding this game since it came out. I'll have to give that a look, thanks for the resource! |

| Okay. So i deleted all mods and my saves, then I reinstalled the mods I want and made sure they were no older than 2016. I started a game and noticed that the SPECIAL labels on the vigor tester were absent. I pressed sort, and used loot yet n o changes were made. Anything I should be aware of before I proceed? I appreciate the assistance btw. Im a noob with computer shit... - Spoiler:

| FCO requires UIO, I don't see it on your load order. I've also heard that it causes crashes. It looks like you're set to load "new Vegas" rather than NVSE through mod organizer. If you have nvse, don't load the vanilla launcher, as far as I know. |
