Hope this is ok to post in here since it still is technically free.

For those of you who regularly check this site, you might notice that I frequently post free games whenever I find them. I've been doing this for this site and many other friends across many other platforms. While I enjoy alerting people to free games, it can be a bit tedious having to hunt them down across the many platforms. So I decided to make my own Discord group for this to help make it more convenient for everyone.

There are a few sub-groups in it:

GENERAL: Just for general news of upcoming free stuff and similar news.

FREE SHIT: For posting links to games that are free.

GIVE-AWAYS: For posting about keys/games/stuff you want to giveaway, but only have one copy or limited copies. So, like If I had a game I didn't want and wanted to give it away, I'd post it in give-aways rather than Free Shit so people wouldn't get their hopes up for a free game and find out it's only for one person.

TRADING: Self explanatory. You post in here if you are looking to trade.

The purpose of these sub-groups is to let you decide what you want to see. For example, I hate seeing free shit pop up in alerts then I find out someone claimed the one key already. So I would mute the give-away channel so I would only get alerts to free shit. Just for easy access and convenience.

I still will post all free games on here when I find them. I don't want people who don't have Discord to miss out and I don't want to try to steal traffic away from here. This is a good board and I plan on continuing to use it. This is just for people who sometimes don't check this section too frequently and don't want to miss any. This will just alert you whenever you're online so you don't have to check through the section each time.

UPDATE 10-13-19: New rule to being invited. You must at least be Survivor rank or higher to be invited on. Special exceptions can be made, but rarely.

I should probably update the page with a little rule. No offense to the new users, but they haven't proven themselves yet. The group does have a trading channel. While it's not frequently used(hasn't been used yet), I aim to keep the group full of trusted people so scams don't happen. Users who frequent GUN and rose a rank or two have shown that they're at least dedicated. A hypothetical situation, imagine if a scammer asked to be in and was a new user. That's a gamble. Call me paranoid, but I don't like risks. Plus, it'll help promote activity here. So newer users, show activity and get promoted to join. Otherwise, you'll have to keep an eye out for my posts on here about free games.
