I've been thinking this one over for awhile now maybe if instead of knowing every plan and mod for every weapon/armor and settlement item plan in FO4 we would have to put a little more effort into it like buying, looting or learning in the same way ask F76 having to buy mods from venders so they wont be totally worthless and a waste of space till we learn said mod. It's just something thats been rolling around in my head for awhile and thought id ask the rest of you lot what you felt on the subject but im also one of those types that enjoy weapon/armor condition.

I've played around with the FO4 CK a bit... unsure how this could be implemented.

Would you have to create some restriction to make an object buildable/cook-able?

Maybe the plans could be magazines with custom perks, and all the objects, mods and food need a perk to be able to be made. Once you found that "plan", it gives you that perk and you can create that mod/food/settlement object.

Nonetheless, pretty cool idea!! Smile

BigOrton "Your profile pic has got me wanting to watch anime." Id imagine it COULD be implemented in magazines with custom perks sense that is already in FO4 it's self. I just like the idea sense you know it's like we know how to build pretty much everything outta the gate like i said in the OG post we would have to put a little more effort into it like buying, looting or learning in the same way as F76 having to buy mods from venders so they wont be totally worthless and a waste of space till we learn said mod to weapon/armor. The only restriction id be putting is the same restriction F76 has nothing over the top just so it makes you more immersed in the game and hey i gotta learn that and like i said im a fan of weapon/armor condition and food rot rate. At any rate thanks for the input and adding to the overall conversion.

You got a good idea, and would definitely fit into FO4!
