| What's everyone's favorite fallout mod the kind of mod you can't do a new play through without?
Me its manual reload. This mod makes side arms useful and if you want to go there immersive. |

| I usually try to keep my load order small but what I've learned is that I can't play FNV without an ENB anymore.
My favorites include 47 and Dreary _________________ ____________________________________________________________

| That's a tough question.... After looking over my load order, the one mod I ALWAYS install is Vault-HQ1. And an ENB. Gotta have those shadows and AO. _________________ |

| I know it sounds really weird, but I personally cannot start a play through without The Courier's weapons. It's mainly nostalgia since it was the first mod I ever downloaded... | @mike23508 If you want to switch Mod Managers but keep you mods there is a file on your computer that holds all of your mods in .rar format. Nexus does this automatically. typically C:/games/nexus mod manager/falloutNV/mods _________________ |

| If I have to mention just one specific mod, I guess the first mod I would install is Project Nevada.
The rest are extra, though I can't play without them either. _________________ Walking down an unknown road |

| There is way too many to count. Mostly mods that correct some things that should have been parts of a game to begin with, or fixing dumb mistakes, balancing or otherwise, and most of them are for fallout 4
As far as actual content goes, I honestly cannot play TTW without the "Quo Vagis" mod. Every fallout game has cut content, but cantenbury is just plain empty in the base game, there had to have been something there, but the devs either ran out of time or simply stopped caring halfway thru and left it as is: an empty pile of rubble with a side quest surrounding it. And I think it is the former, as uncle what's his face says that this is a "Sprawling trading community" when cantenbury is nothing more than a bar, it doesn't even have any traders.
The mod adds a brothel to the "City". This alone not only justifies cantenbury's place in the wasteland, but also actually drives the economy, and gives the place some sort of meaning lore wise. The quest and location are actually well written, and serve as a good player base, with lots of resources and 2 possible companions, so aside from introducing whole new elements that F3 was missing, it also feels like it belongs in game, like this is part of the game experience that was planned from the start. Any time I play thru unmodded F3, and I get to cantenbury, it just feels like something is missing, I guess this makes it a mod I cannot play without
And I did say that this mod introduced a brothel, this does mean that this mod adds the XXX side of things to the capital wasteland, which again, was sorely missing, but it does so in the best possible way: There is no visuals of the acts, and you can't even sleep with the hookers, only your 2 possible companions and a few of the more important characters, this is a mod that adds a whole brothel, and has a whole lot of skimpy women, but your relationship with them is purely business, and I love it, it feels like something an actual(Non-bethesda) fallout game would do. And the acts themselves are all fade-to-black as well, none of this cringy loverslab stuff, so points to that as well. The mod also does a good job of connecting all DLCs together with the brothel, and making it seem like it, again, truly belongs in the world, and is part of the experience, and not some self contained piece of content
So, yeah, I recommend this mod, and I Can't ever play without it. I'm glad that modding bethesda fallouts is so much easier, and we got something like this out of it. Another area which has a painful amount of cut corners would be the LA boneyard from fallout 1, in which a whole idea of gang wars between various different factions in the area has been reduced to a simple quest between 2 factions, and the area itself has little reason to exist, other than to house FotA and the gunrunners, and yet, I see no mod that expands on this location. Potential is there
On a side note, I have another mod that I can't play without, and simply feel should have been part of the game to begin with. It's much smaller, and, well, I will just link it. The description and screenshots speak for themselves https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/64502?tab=description _________________ http://z0r.de/?id=293

| Discounting every bug fix, stability and optimization mod? Probably the immersive camera mod. I cannot play New Vegas without it. _________________ Will there be enough Dakka? |
